Happy New Year, Serg! I’ve been living in Bearing since 2012, and Samrong is nearby. When my mom is visiting, I often go to the Samrong market with her to buy vegetables and fruits, as she prefers home-cooked meals. I absolutely love living in Bearing and enjoy spending time in the surrounding local areas.
Great to see you back Serg 👌. You’re looking very relaxed and chilled. I remember taking the wrong exit at Samrong then spent an hour wondering around 😂😂. So many cats !!!! 🐈 they can be very choosy about how they liked to be petted. My cat use to swipe me if I stroked him from the back of his head forward covering his eyes 😂😂
Happy New Year! So cool that you are planning more bike trips. I look forward to watching them. Can't wait!! And Wow for that restaurant, what a great find!
I was in Bangkok middle of last month and it was so nice, I had no idea it got that cool in bangkok. I'm moving there next month, hoping I can catch at least a little bit of the nice weather.
Happy New Year Serg, glad you're back. On you southern trip when you go drop in and say hello to Tim Newton in Pna Na Beach. He has some very nice beach houses, maybe stay there one night. Stay safe and we all look forward to seeing more videos. 🙏🙏🙏
Good to see u back on YT and back in Siam! The NE is amazing with national parks and the mighty Mekong river. You could cross over to Laos or Vietnam from there. I went to a village called Makdahon (sp?) many years ago. Huge river spirit sculptures (Naga?) along the river, great little restaurants, a very good hotel for such a small town. Yes, those temple cats want their kibbles.
I’m not gonna be taking my bike across borders. If I decide to do a motorbike tour another country I will just fly in and rent a bike there. But those are some great suggestions!
I feel you, mate! I went to CES 2025 in the US for three days, and I missed Thai food so much! Also, +10 for the cats. When you visit Ubon Ratchathani, please let me know, I’d love to take you around to the places where locals actually eat and hang out. Love your vlog and can’t wait for the next one!
Oh man! I’m jealous you went to CES. I’ve always wanted to go to that. I gotta be honest, Thai food has never been at the top of my list. I’m much prefer Japanese and Vietnamese over Thai.
I was living in bang phli in samut prakan 2023/2024 and for 6 weeks i was painting murals in nana plaza. Every day me and my friend would ride our bikes to samrong /imperial world and then get the bts to nana. I would see some amazing sunsets from samrong bts or on top of imperial world on the way home. The temple behind imperial world has an amazing sculpture of luang pu that thats worth checking out. Also a bit further down the road is 2 japanese secondhand warehouses, one selling hifi/music equipment/records etc, the other selling camera equipment. Defo worth checking out. Ill have to check out that cafe when i go back to live there in march. Cheers
Yep, I’ve done that temple with the statue of Luang Pu and the Japanese secondhand stores. Did videos on both. Actually the second hand store video is my most viewed video to date. Will go back there and make an updated video soon. Great area.
Seems you had some shirts with the 2nd largest cola brand in the world...is that what you were looking for. Happy to see you back in the land of smiles...Matt & Lucy
Unfortunately, I shrunk the Pepsi shirt as well. But that was a vintage shirt so I am trying to stretch it back out to size. But that’s not the shirt I was looking to replace.
The reason you see those Samlor ( 3 wheeler or tricycle ) in Samrong is that when the ethnic Chinese got booted from Bangkok over a century ago they didn't just go to Chinatown....they purchased up big down there and restarted their lives...hence a large cluster of Christian schools and businesses are in Bang Na and Samrong. Hence, these places like Agalin or Bougain cafe are run by the offspring of Chinese families who are building these cool little businesses on the family estates. Did you notice their Porsche 911 on the way in to Agalin, they have some cool cars.....
Thank you so much for that explanation, I knew they had to be some reason. I definitely would’ve noticed a Porsche 911, sadly there were none outfront.
Also i discover recently this two temples who is worth visiting if you are in the area (you can feed the turtle pond and you can go inside the chedy): Wat Prayurawongsawas Worawihan Khao Mor Wat Prayurawong Sawat
Text me about 4 to 5 hours to edit a video of this length. I’ve no idea why you think it’s fake. If this is your attempt at insulting me, you’re gonna have to do a lot better than that. 😜🤣
you dont really give me confidence you know what you talking about. as the very first thing you said in thai Samrong your pronunciation so very off. pronunciation cant be learned only a 100% accurate reflexion of total experience. which like hell you are getting your info in thai from locals. that is the only way to ever get the full truth from locals that really do know whats going on and speaker in there language. why is it all these thai youtuber channels just decided to declare themself instant experts. there should be some peer review board of the whole lot of them before then ever get onto youtube. its just more spews for more views
Sorry that my videos didn’t meet your expectations princess. I’m sure you can do everything better than everyone else. There’s a whole world out there for you to critique, so yon better get going!

Yes, Katherine is very finicky. This isn’t the first time a cat came up to me and it was all lovey-dovey and then swiped me. I find it pretty funny.
Good to see you back in Thailand.
Thanks. Good to be back home.
