    Life long City fan here. I don't think Arteta gets enough credit for the job he's done with this young Arsenal team. To take an inexperienced team with not one of the strongest benches in the PL, and have them on pace to win this thing going away is amazing. City haven't been the best side all year long. We are still good, just not as good as years past but that takes nothing away from the job Arteta and Arsenal have done.

    What arteta needs to do is get arsenal back to playing absolutely fluid, knocking the ball about into space, and creating chances from different ways so we’re not predictable. In order to do that we can’t be starting Nketiah he really nullifies our play badly and doesn’t bring much to our build up play hence why we’ve struggled. Also we should make full use of our squad in regards to rotation and start killing teams off with fresh legs and hungry players who want to play a part too because we do have depth in numbers now no excuses. Also I want us to have an elite mentality where we’re going for both the league and Europa we should be competing for all majors #COYG 🙏🏾🔴⚪️

    You guys talk about man city have not being at their best as if man city is out of this world, the league has become more competitive that's the fact other smaller teams have stepped up, that's why it's difficult for man city to dominate as they used to and can never be so again. Whatever man cit is doing now is the best they can give and nothing more, that the reality on ground.

    Arsenal does look stretched, afraid to falter having come so far, farther than we imagined at the start of the season. City looks in a more comfortable zone only because they have incredible depth, something Arsenal sorely lacks, and needs to build next season when teams like Liverpool, Chelsea and certainly Man United would be snapping at our heels.
    What's good about Arsenal today is they look a well settled side even though at times a bit too predictable. Maybe Arteta could consider bringing back Tierney as left back, and push Zinchenko in the midfield in place of Xhaka who looks a bit tired and stale. Jesus coming back would add a lot more zing upfront and in the box.
    If Arsenal do win the league title, it would be a tremendous achievement. Hope we do.

    • @tyleru96
      @tyleru96 Год назад +5

      Jesus, ESR, Nelson, and Partey are all returning from injury now. Our strength in depth is going to be much, much better. People seem to forget just how big Jesus coming back is going to be. We dropped a total of 5 points when he was in the lineup (all 5 of which came from referee errors). We've dropped 8 in the time he's been injured. Nketiah has done fine but Jesus takes us up a level.

      Yeah tierney needs to come in and zinchenko needs rest, arteta is still a young manager though and so is the team. We aren’t perfect it took city years to become this experience (6 years of title chasing) arteta needs to look at using different styles at different parts of the game. Like pep, he always grabs bernardo and Rodri when something is wrong and changes the system completely effortlessly mid game, that takes hours of training on the pitch to get that discipline and it always works. Arteta just has 1 system atm and for arsenal it’s working but teams are starting to catch on, sit deep defend and hit us on the counter like man United did. But we will strengthen in summer and hopefully arteta develops more flexibility to the squads system to deal with parking the bus teams

      @@jordandavis3867 the team look a little different to the start of the season, the players are feeling the pressure but it’s good. while City obviously have the capability and proven track record of going on a 13 match win streak, they just haven't shown that this season thus far. If they go on to do that now, fair play to them. What's interesting to think about is this: If Arsenal were to win 11 of the remaining 14 games (very tough ask but not totally unrealistic), City would have to win 12 of their last 13 to finish above us (assuming both teams lost their other matches City would finish on 91 points and Arsenal on 90 in that scenario). The more wins Arsenal rack up, the more pressure that puts on City because they know they'll have to be perfect as long as Arsenal continue to win. Long way to go, though, so anything is possible.

    • @omother6950
      @omother6950 Год назад +1

      Arsenal still have city to play though, if we drop points at the etihad and we lose 3 they gain 3, the balance literally shifts. If we win at the etihad surprisingly which I hope happens, to really instill panick in city and pep because Liverpool only drew with them late on in the season in the past years, I wonder if city would actually panick despite their experience. But I think arsenal will still stay top well I hope they will until that game vs city at the etihad. That game will literally define the title

    This Arsenal team can win the title but they have to learn to suffer and get stuck in. Odegaard pulls out of too many 50/50 challenges. Not enough DOG in our performances consistently enough and that is what it should take. Looked at City over the weekend and how their players were swarming Bournemouth to win back the ball. That's what it takes. Cannot be complacent.
