Oh my GOD I love the expression so much! Also I’m currently going through that phase where I feel like I need to constantly do everything to prove I can and can’t make decisions and it’s rough. This is so good tho reb!
Saw you on drawfee recently and loved what you did so I had to see your channel and I was not dissapointed! This looks amazing! Keep up the great work :)
This is gorgeous! I'm drawing something right now and I always really struggle matching line art and rendering style and I'm in that stage at the moment especially when drawing a more cartoonish style but I don't always want to flat shade. But anyway this gave me a burst of creativity thank you! Really like the lines and damn that linesr burn trick is awesome it really does add that old anime effect. Awesome stuff! I liked your first piece too for what it's worth 😊
GOD I FEEL THAT. it’s so tough to feel like you put yourself in a box with how you inked something or how the proportions work >+o I’m glad this helped you though!! That’s always the goal :>
loved watching you work on this! it's interesting to think that your range can actually be a hindrance sometimes. i can see that making it difficult to decide what direction to take a piece, but i hadn't really thought of it until now. also i will NOT put down the oregano!!
NICO PLS THE OREGANO And yeah, it’s a blessing and a curse! I’ve been curating my portfolio more, and I realized that it could be seen as inconsistency to some jobs. Which totally makes sense. But being able to identify the “genres” of my art helps me refine them individually :>
A beautiful piece! I really love the style and render you did! I often find myself liking sketches more, but you definitely kept the magic intact. Very inspiring and fun, thanks so much for sharing!
You have such a great voice! Like perfect for narration/voice over. (I apologize if this type of compliment is not welcome) Compliment for the finished piece: I LOVED the render. The color and texture of it made me want to run my hands on it to feel it.
This was such a fun watch and also so inspiring! I always forget about that trick with the lineart so bless you for mentioning it in this video. The end result is so cool and impactful.
it is gonna sound a bit weird, perhaps, but i really found it inspiring to watch you work stuff out in the speed draw? like, i often have trouble with realizing that I can rework things? and this helps somehow?
That’s not weird at all, I’m so glad it’s helpful!! I feel the same way, I’ll often forget that I CAN start something over, or even that it will take a couple tries for me to warm up and get it right. (Especially in a Timelapse that I know will be recorded, I used to be so scared of it recording my scrapped sketches lmao) I really appreciate this, thank you!!
The use of the earrings to subtly suggest that she just quickly turned her head is really epic.
