I have one question: "Why?" Why tf would you think that's a good idea?
At least things are more relaxed now. I remember when you used to not be able to have any visible tattoo's at all. Usually built right into the employee handbook as part of the dress code. If you had something like an arm tattoo you couldn't wear short sleeves and so on. It's also funny people get judged by the clothes they wear but for some reason we aren't supposed to care what you permanently attach to your skin?
Tattoo's are a statement, if you don't want people to hear that statement don't get them lol.
Anyone who says dont judge a book by its cover has clearly never read a book.
So if a dust cover on a book is ripped, the book is bad?
@@PebblesOTB first a dust cover is not the cover of a book. Secondly a damaged cover says nothing about the books contents or quality only how its been cared for. Your example is as shallow as anyone claiming not to be judged by their outward projection.
If i see a book with cooking stuff on the front titled holiday meals for the familiy i dont expect to find graphic sexual content or edgy superhero stories. I expect to find recipes for food. If i see the same book with a stained and somewhat torn cover i will assume the book has been used for cooking a lot not that its been used as some sort of drug paraphernalia or fetish support.
In summary the very purpose of a books cover is to allow one to quickly and effectively judge what is to be found inside.
@@wittyjoker4631 100% Correct.
The literal purpose of book covers is to allow us to judge the contents of the book. That's why there usually are quotes from positive reviews written all over it.
It's like the people who say "don't judge a show by its trailer". I mean, do these people realize what a trailer is FOR?
Or a movie poster. Or the label on literally every food item in a supermarket. Or a retail store. Or a restaurant. Literally everyone judges everything by it's cover.
@@PebblesOTB No. But if the dust cover is ripped you aren't buying that copy are you.
She could get a farm job. That nose ring should keep her from rooting under the fence.
How about working with livestock. She can show the cows what they will look like with a nose ring. Maybe get different styles of rings for them. She can try them out first.

The saying is, "You can't ALWAYS judge a book by its cover." I know almost all books with a bare-chested man holding a woman is a book I do not want to read.
Well someone has to work at the convenience store.
The haunted house is taking applications for the Halloween season.
You know what annoys me? People with things hanging out of their noses.
I might consider hiring someone if they had a booger "peeking out" of their nose during interview....at least that is something can be easily removed.
@@user-tl7mj2bm4m zit, booger, even a scar that can't be removed. Why oh why would you tatoo satan on your neck and a bullseye on yourforehead? Not the brightest lantern on the porch.
HR is probably afraid to tell her the truth, they don’t want to be sued.
😂 For what? You can't sue any company for discrimination for your appearance. Plenty of companies will tell you straight up. That's why you weren't hired. I know people personally who got fired for a tattoo on their arm even showing, and they told him that was exactly why they did it. You can't discriminate based on age, disability, race, or religion. Appearance doesn't fall under any of those that you can sue for.
She would be the first person to sue you for any little grievance.
Stereotypes are a real time saver.

One thing to consider is that her application was rejected before they saw her. So the rot goes further than skin-deep.
Part of the 'experience' theat is being looked at is life experience, and ones ability to make decisions that won't affect them negatively.

My first girlfriend would always cause drama or at least it followed her. I finally just stopped EVER going to see her...one of the best decisions of my life.
So walking HR complaint/lawsuit waiting to happen finds it hard to find a job. It's a mystery why.
My dad did a lot of hiring for his company. Face piercings and visible tattoos were immediate dismissal. I asked him why. He said. "It shows a lack of integrity, emotional stability, and poor judgement."
The petstore near my house hired a girl with face tattoos. The owner wanted to give her a chance... Well the girl robbed the store blind.and it took months for them to figure it out.I cantell you I was shocked... Shocked! I tell you!
Probably to buy more tattoos........
Most shocking thing is that it took them months to figure it out. Let me guess, the owners of the store were liberals who were going out of their way to suspect everyone BUT the tattooed girl, to show how non-judgmental they were.

What are we supposed to judge a book by?
If the book says “Tax records of York, 1500 to 1502” I suspect the book is about taxes, not Physics.
Just so. If you see Satan on the cover of a book, you're pretty sure you're not buying that for your kids.
Those tattoos are really evil. She is inviting very dark things into her life.

Some of those look like Satan drew them

they never call you to say you're not hired, duh
In today’s world, no company calls the person who they are not going to hire. They send out a pretty standard email, You can complain about that all you want, but it’s not going help. You created the problem now deal with it!
Of course you should judge a book by its cover, the reason why is what's on the cover is usually a good indication of what's inside.

You are going to prefer a person without nose rings and face Tattoos.....

I worked as a vocational rehabilitation counselor for four decades in several settings. Among my duties was to teach people how to conduct themselves in an interview and how to prepare for the same.
