Easy to learn I was surprised..it starts with an even number of chains and then just follow along after.. there is a feature to slow down the video so u can closer study it. Good luck ...I figured it out and can't wait to finish it😊

I just finished crocheting a very heavy 5'x2' rug using 3 strands of 4 ply yarn with an ornate edging. It was lot of work. Not much fun. Watching you crochet the pink "shells" made me feel very happy. I'm on my way to the store to buy yarn so I can start making a "shell" afghan today! Thank you for the fantastic video!!!!❤

Lovely pattern. I can watch then write it down. She did show the hook size at the beginning but you can use whatever size you want, just keep the numbers the same. 😎

It appears to be a multiple of 5 +1
It is as many as you want as long as it is a multiple of chains by 5, in other words u may do 5+5+5+5+5+5+5 and so on and at the last 5 ad a 1 ch. so everything should come out fine with that count.

You can slow it down
You can slow down the video. You can also put on subtitles
Within the video there are symbols on top of the frame while the video is playing, top right side. Click on the symbol all the way to the right that looks like a tool nut, a window will open and there is an option for how fast you can play back the video speed. Hope that helps.
I counted 32 on the starting chain, hope this helps, but overall after that it seems easy to do, I assume you can start with an even number or multiples of 5? And follow along with the video after that
If you go onto settings you can slow down the video. This way you can see the stitches
I like it I have to follow you step by step , but I don’t see the number to click in tomorrow

You start with as many as you want as long as u can multiply the total chains by 5. So like 5+5+5+5+5+5+5 and so forth but don’t forget the extra one at the end of 1 chain.
Go to the settings and slow the video down, very slow, and it will be much easier to see exactly what stitches she is going into. I hope this helps.

Judging by the video it is a multiple of 5‘s. Let’s say you want something longer then just 30 chains then just add more as long as they are multiple by 5, at the end of your foundation chain don’t forget the 1 extra chain. So if you want a count of 50 base chains then add the last chain of 1 chain. All together u would have 51
