The song is about their being true to themselves and doing their own thing, no matter what people say ("Parla, la gente putroppo parla" means "They talk, people lamentably talk"), but then he adds "Non sa di che cazzo parla" or "They don't know WTF they are talking about". The chorus repeats that "Siamo fuori di testa, ma diversi da loro" - "We are out of our minds, but we are different from them.". Basically an exhortation to follow your dreams and your beliefs.

Somehow I always thought this song would have a lot of sexual connotations as the live performances seemed very sensual to me. But maybe that is just the style of Damiano David.
