- DIY how to make TBS Crossfire & ExpressLRS bluetooth telemetry.
In this tutorial I use the following components and web sites. Please note that the links to the components are affiliate links.

I got it to work!!!
The video is missing a lot of info.
1. You need to power the BT module with 5-6v (I got 5v from the R9M module uart)
2. You need to save the latest LUA in the Taranis sd card
3. You hane to "Discover new sensors" from the Taranis menu
4. A signal inverter in-line is needed for the Taranis UART to be able to communicate with the BT module
5. For the artificial horizon to work (in Telemetry Viewer app) you have to set frsky_pitch_roll=ON in inav

What about those of us that have the full size crossfire with built in bluetooth. I could never get telemetry Viewer app to fully function with my Xf full TX with bluetooth connection
Hy, i have an flysky fsi6x radio with flashed OpenTX on it. I have set serial port to - telemetry mirror, but the back port usb cable to pc doesn't get recognised as a uart port on pc.. Telemetry to FC work, i get telemetry info on the radio screen, but not forwarded trough the cable so that i could read them on windows pc.. USB connect in joystick mode is getting detected as uart 5, but telemetry mirror standalone, doesn't parse info to the usb cable.. am i doing something wrong ? i have seen HC05 bluetooth modules used for this, soldered to a pad on the motherboard, is that the same serial pin as for the usb plug?
everything works gut, only the altitude is shown wrong

kalau ke Taranis X9D+ perlu inverter kah ? saya pake external elrs, saya coba langsung, telemetry viewer nya tidak menampilkan info, tapi saya coba pasang di radiomaster pocket internal elrs, bisa tampil info di telemetry viewer
What app other than telemetry viewer works with it? Is there any iPhone app that works ? I could not find this app in apple store ?!

Tried your tutorial and all went well but when I try to check the BAUD RATE change to 115200 I get no response!!! I get an OK when I send AT+UART=115200,0,0 but then it only responds at 38400. I have already tried on two different modules. Any ideas??
do you use HC-05? this seem to has a fixed AT mode Baudrate of 38400.. same for me, I understood that the UART setting is for the BT mode only. I get it connected, but telemetry viewer is not showing any data. If I monitor BT serial stream coming from the module, there is a repeated output and in the middle it says FRSKY X&D16 but I dont get Telemetry Viewer (or similar apps) to work.
@@LarsTil Same with me. I connect but no data. I had it working in the past through the uart of the R9M module. Back then, a signal inverter was used but I dont see that being necessary innthis case!!!

@@KUSNENDARTUTOR I saw a vid , where he has used Frsky bluetooth module, (available on AliExpress)... On his tx16s main board, where pads r available for bluetooth! (Besides scroll board)

Hes not very clear in this video unfortunately. This whole telemetry thing is a cluster F imo. No one seems to no what go where. If you have R9M connected to your T16 you can just buy an inverter and connect straight to the back of the R9M module. Only way I can get telemetry to work with external devices like android. Crossfire bluetooth in full TX sucks and never stays connected or you only get sat count that it. He stated in this video it works with crossfire but isnt very clear on how.

@@theodorosmpakogiannis330 that’s what I am trying to understand as well, from what can find on the internet it’s rated for 3.3v, so I don’t understand how he claim that there is no need in extra circuits
@@ofekz360 I powered mine from the 5v output of the R9M module and only connected the Rx wire to the UART.
