You can add this to your post if you want - at 39:00 she answered the question if Happy Place is a limited release or permanent addition to the Hobbii lineup. Currently it's a permanent addition but that can change depending on how popular it is. So here's hoping it's super popular!
tbh, I don't mind your YT presence not being on a rigid schedule. That way, when you post, it's a little pop of sunshine in my life :) I love to rewatch your videos because you give such an amazing amount of good information. They are extremely rewatchable. Happy for you, how far you've come. When I first subbed you had about 2,000 subscribers and you didn't have your Dreambox yet. Wishing you further success and growth!
Thanks for being so kind about my inconsistency lol - I be trying :-) You've really been here from the beginning - from my early "I don't know what I'm doing here" days. So glad you've stuck around.
Your yarn and colors look great! How exciting for you and the yarn community. Just ignore all the negative comments. 30 colors would probably be too few! Also, it isn't like all yarns start out with bunches of colors, weights and fibers. You're such a happy, loving, talented and energetic lady, I hate to think of negative people changing you in any way. I have seen some YouTub people terribly hurt by negative comments, even about their life style and how they raise their kids or talk to their husbands. So bad that it changed them and how they run their channel. So many of these people just say these things to hurt others because they think it is fun to get under your skin. Ignor them and just listen to your true fans that support you. Best wishes for a sell out on September 1st!
Just watched the replay - and your excitement for your new yarn made me so happy! I love natural fibres, the colours are gorgeous and your excitement infectious! Definitely just ordered some and I really can’t wait to try it!
Hi! I just "found" you and wanted to tell you you have a follower forever here. I started watching/listening to your podcasts yesterday while I was working (crochet) and you are like a breath of fresh air for me. I'm from California and watching your bubbly and lovable personality really gives me the feeling of home. I've lived in Europe for over 30 years.... so, Hi! All the way from Kristiansand Norway. 😊
As much talent and knowledge you have and share on yarn, needles, crocheting, I was wondering how long it was going to take you girl!! I can’t wait to try it. I also can’t wait for the next obvious step for you, making the perfect set of needles! It will come and we will be here to support! Way to go, and thank you. I’m sure I don’t speak alone, We all know what you do comes from a wonderful place and with us in mind, we are truly grateful ❤
So excited about this…and I have the perfect sweater I want to do with it…and just waiting for Hobbi to restock some of the colors I want! (Spin and dye, Hobbi! 😁) As a long time knitter with all types of yarns…Eucalan (or Soak) is a soap you soak your knitted/crocheted item in, and dry flat. No rinsing needed. Light swish, leave it in the Eucalan + water about 15 min. (Room temp water) roll water out in a towel (don’t wring it!!!) and lay flat to dry. Or….unless it’s Alpaca or wool with no twist, Dryel sheets are your friend for all the “dry clean” stuff and knitwear! Throw a Dryel sheet (Woolite makes their own version, too) in the provided bag, put in the dryer for 15-20 min on med to low heat…remove immediately…smells great, doesn’t shrink wool (but alpaca is often too delicate, especially if unspun, that stuff felts like there’s no tomorrow!) so I’ve done this with multiple types of wool and silk garments both storebought and handmade…no problems! Wool and cotton are safer for baby clothes/blankets because they’re naturally fire retardant. Acrylic/polyester yarn melts under heat/fire. Made a baby blanket years ago for a niece from a wool/cotton blend, held up in my sister’s washer and dryer and is still looking good!! (YMMV…test a swatch in the washer dryer to see how you feel it does in yours.)
We have a cat called Peppa. She found our family. We tried to get her to go back to her family, but she didn't want to be with them. She is just perfect. We call her Peps, Peperoni, and hey Cat. Congratulations on your new product. I hope that I will be able to get some here in Australia. I have just started crocheting, and I am having so much fun creating new things. I am taking on my biggest challenge, and that is my first blanket. Wishing you and your inner artist so many blessings for your new adventures 🙏💜🙏
Toni…you are wonderful! Wishing you much success with your new yarn line. It is beautiful & I am sold on your product. Thank you for all that you do & are! 🥰🧶
Ohhhhhhh Toni, your yarn colours are BREATHTAKING❣️❣️❣️❣️ I missed the livestream, but OMG I needed to congratulate you in this line; I literally love EVERY SINGLE COLOUR❣️❣️❣️❣️ I will be haunting the website on 1 September and get as many as possible! I’m hoping that they will ship to the remote Canadian Arctic because I NEED to have that in my life!
I was very bummed to have to work during this, but loved this replay! I love the idea of 🎃 melange with 🍆 solid, I'm going to have to think of a project to use them in... Maybe one of your exciting new patterns!
This is only my third video of watching you and you are such a positive person. You make me smile every time I watch you. I’m originally from upstate New York but now live in Rocky Mount, Virginia. Keep the fun videos coming and I can’t wait to try your yarn.
Critical of your own image is ROUGH. It’s rough. But please hear that you are GORGEOUS! In every way possible. Truly truly beautiful. I’m so happy for Happy Place 🥰 and for you.
Hi Toni, I never commented on your videos before but you got me into crochet and I am so thankful for it. I live in the Netherlands and I have never ordered from Hobbii but I am definitely placing an order when your yarn comes out (the colours are beautiful). I am so excited that we are able to get it here too! Congratulations and hugs from the Netherlands
Congratulations! This is an amazing accomplishment! I love the eggplant color! And your melange colors might be the perfect shades for a blanket I want to make for my father. Thank you so much for all that you do in the crochet community!
Love the colors and that you included the melange. The price is a little more than I like to pay but for the quality, it's a good price. If I went to a yarn store, I'd expect to pay more than that. I can probably use 2 or 2.5 for the Prayer Shawls I make for church.
Cameron Tx, and working on a sweater for hubby . Yes its a simple Doule Crochet item. Funny is I am doing it as I recover from My colonscopy on Tuesday. If you line your bags with a fabric it will help give it some stability and body- i have done it with using plastic bags yarns. Ninette Bird- The Caribbean Wife- Tx
Wool and cotton are my 2 favourite fibers so this is like a dream come true! I do wish it was available in a thicker yarn, but its not too thin that I'd be reluctant to work with it anyway
Soooo happy to be located in Denmark right now. I might have to get to one of their stores shorly after launch and see the yarn myself. Sadly we have an agreement at home. No more yarn until I finish a project. And I already have my next purchace picked out.
Donna from MA. Working on a sampler, patchwork style afghan. 7 shades of plum, burgundy and lavender in 11inch squares while learning new patterns. Fun. 😊
I just finished making your basket with the wool yarn you recommended. First time working with wool and I was surprised how much I liked it! I love the basket and just made a smaller one last night. I’m addicted! So Very excited about your new wool/cotton blend! Also ❤️Pepper❤️ so stinkin adorable!
Congratulations! Thank you for doing the machine wash and dry test. I only buy yarn that is machine dryable. I would just make the item a bit larger to allow for shrinkage. The colors look fabulous.
I am just SO happy for you! This is so exciting! OMG the colours. The COLOURS!!!! I love your eye for colours, you really have a gift! I can’t wait to see the launch in a couple of weeks, I’ll be checking it out for SURE 😍
Hello from MN I love Hobbii and will definitely be ordering your Happy Place yarn!! 😃 Comgrats on your line!! I lost my cat Kitty who was 19 last year and adopted a kitten a few months after. Your dog pepper is SO cute.
What a great start to my Wednesday i am crocheting your braided ear warmer in your beautiful book, and watching you. I live in Narberth, Pembrokeshire Wales. Sorry I can’t catch you live a little bit early or late. What Time Zone are you please. I am UBER delighted that your yarn is going to be on Hobbii I use them quiet a lot. Thank you. Loves and Hugs xxx
It is now 2.10 pm. The band is for a very lovely friend who is driving 4hr 40 mins to put my craft den into a bigger room. More headbands please I have a lot of female friends to crochet for. I know there are a few out there but they don’t reply and answer any questions and it’s only music no talking. Keep up the good work and I’m soooo glad I learnt Tunisian crochet. Loves and hugs xxx
