- Today I’m experimenting with Crayola Supertips to create a watercolour wash effect in Christine Karron’s Wildflower Folk. I have the 100 pack of Supertips along with the 20 pack of Pastel Supertips.

This so beautiful !!!
I love her so much, her tights and patches are just so lovely. Looking forward to watching part 2 ❤❤❤
Thank you! 😊 She’s very cute, I feel like I aged her a little too much but still enjoyed this one a lot 👍
Fabulous…you are a great teacher. Just love watching you work.❤
Thank you so much! ❤️
Am loving your tutorials Jackie... you explain things so well. This method seems lovely and relaxing and I will probably have to end up buying Crayola Supertips from Amazon. I must check out the other pics of this book on YT as I love this little elf that you chose for your session today. Can't wait to see what color hair she will have!
Keep an eye out for sales….I picked the 100 set up quite reasonably priced 👍
Oh so that's how it's done. I saw this finished on Instagram. Thanks Jackie.
The same technique can be applied to just about any watercolour marker for similar results 👍 it makes budget markers look good I think 😊
I use this method a lot lately and really enjoy it, a super easy way to mix colours and create fun variations - as long as the paper isn't hating it!😂😂 Really nice to see you colouring as always, you are so good at explaining things and creating a relaxed vibe❤
Thank you, I am glad to hear you are enjoy the video. I’m going to test all my markers this way now! 😉
Looking good jackie, I might have to invest in some Super tips and try this. I have this book, but yet to colour, now I will follow this tutorial. Thanks so much, I too am learning alot from your channel.
Have fun! It’s a pretty book ❤️
Very Beautiful ❤️
Thank you! 😊
@@Spare_Room_Studio Your welcome 🤗
Some of the very dark color supertips are quite different than expected when diluted, and some, especially the greys/black, will "split" when diluted into their base dyes showing each different color which is a really cool effect. This is especially strong if you lay them down and drop clear water into them when still wet.
It’s actually quite a cool effect once you know what they will do….colour separation and granulation is something I really enjoyed when painting in watercolours years ago 😉
Im new to you're channel but i really loving it. Learn a lot!! Thank you for posting!!!
Welcome! Glad you are enjoying the channel ❤️
@@Spare_Room_Studio thank you !! 🥰
Adorable Jackie. I only have a 24 set of Crayolas. They are actually not that readily available in the shops here 😮 Bigger sets online of course 😊
I bought mine on Amazon because our shops don’t always stock big sets of Crayola either - and they are not as cheap as the US. 😐 Try mixing some colours….you should be able to get a bit of extra variety out of what you have 🤞
@@Spare_Room_Studio Yes!! Quite a lot of colouring “stuffs” are not nearly as cheap here as in the US either 😢
ooh looking lovely Jackie ,I have only the pastel super tips at the moment .Do you know if the pastel colours are also in the big 100 set ?
I'm not sure, I haven’t actually studied the packaging or done a thorough check yet….they look at first glance to be unique colours 🤞
Looks so cute! What is the paper like?
It's good, but doesn’t cope with heavy water use (unless you don’t mind some bending and crinkling 😉)
