My Sensei has been working with me on my back stance a lot. Mostly my posture, but I ran through exercise a few times. I think this will help. I'm definitely going to throw it into my workout routine at home. Thank you!

One tiny detail to put in mind (because i my sensei noted it to me)
If you are in a kata which has a backward move in a kokutsu dachi (one of the bassai katas) don't move the back leg while rotating. Make sure your feet stays on the ground. just pivot on the back leg like how Yusuke did.

Very nice explanation. Question, So in all of these turns should one focus on turning on the heel, or does the foot sometimes turn on the ball at some point?
Mainly on the heel!
Oss sensei, i have noticed you turn on the ball of your foot and i heard that with shotokan we should turn on our heel. I tried turning on my heel in kokutsu dachi but it’s very unnatural, and i might exaggerate and say impossible, what are your thoughts?
Sensei .I ihave many problem for sikodachi .CAN YOU GIVE MI TIPS for get good sikodachi

We don't turn on heel?
Not unless you're trying to slow down or maintain balance. Physiologically speaking the heel, which works in tandem with the soleus muscle in your calf, is used for, and stabilizing and balance, and slowing or stopping forward movement. If you are trying to move forward and or accelerate, it's best to move on the ball of your feet.
