Protip for vices. Don't keep the jaws completely closed. This way if you walk by and bump the handle, it'll swing freely instead of giving you a bruise!

Just a suggestion, try star drive wood screws. I noticed you having a difficult time with the Phillips head screws, star drive screws have more grip-less slip! George Phoenix AZ. 🌵🦂
