Just the fact that Kifaru makes everything in America makes it a no brainer to me. Same reason im buying Origin hunting clothes.

Most other hunting packs do as well. Kifaru, Stone Glacier, and Exo are all USA made. I think Kifaru promotes it more than some other companies, but it’s nice that several quality companies are making things right here.

I own 4 kifaru packs. Do u really feel its a grin and bear it feel with them? I often wondered about stone glacier. Im not an exo guy their packs r too skinny and super tall. I like width too in my packs. But ive been looking at Stone glacier and wondering why them? They look nice but i actually love the tactical look of the kifaru the ruck sack appeal. I just bought the discounted ma deuce that i always wanted and its on closeout sale at kifaru i finally got it!! Pals webbing gets me excited and no pack has more then the ma deuce. It has a horseshoe zipper that filets open the whole pack with lotsa organization. Its a joy to pack and soooo easy. Kifaru has so many ways to add more storage to the pack. Their gear is beyond tough. And now they have the new frame the Ark frame fully carbon snd new shoulder straps and a new waist belt and a new lumbar pad. Its 500$ for the frame. They tried to destroy it and no matter what torture test they did on it they couldn't break it and it's lighter more comfortable and easier to use. I feel ur video was going around the edges of not liking the kifaru. Why wud someone get the stone glacier instead? I was looking at the 7200. Or the one right beneath it in size. In the xcurve frame. I like curved frames. But maybe the krux frame wud work too ...why is the kifaru with all its accolades and build quality not keeping up with other brands? Most people say their so comfortable. Be honest i can take it. Kifaru also offers endless bag configurations and styles of packs. Their quite the ruck. And the price cant be for no reason. Or is it now in this date and time.? Thanks guys!!

You are correct, and we did not intend to suggest that we were unhappy with the Kifaru! Forest used their pack for years in the past. However, we both found better comfort under load with the Stone Glacier and Exo packs. That's not to say that Kifaru was far behind. In full transparency, I've been using the Arc frame the last few days and I am very impressed with it. We will be doing an updated video here soon, so make sure to keep an eye out for that!

Have you tried or heard anything about this new Akak pack? Or the pack from Alaskan Guide Creations?

Hi Robert. Unfortunately, we have not heard anything specific concerning the AKAK or Alaskan Guide Creation packs. We will need to take a look though!

Didn't make it on this video, we'll likely re-do this test in the future and may add them as well.

Can't set a pack up "for you" if the stays can't be bent. Aluminum all the way.
