Good Morning everyone! We've been so excited to share these videos with you all so we hope you enjoy them as much as we enjoyed filming them. Just a few notes: We are already back home, so some of the things we 'can't find' in this vlog or haven't come across you will see in the next few vlogs, this is only the first of 3. And with regards to to animals/wildlife, this wasn't our first rodeo folks so we know that Bears and other wild animals are very dangerous but all we've ever wanted is to see a Bear in the wild...from a safe distance! We did not want to sit and have a cuddle with one on a hiking trail 🙈 We know and would like to pass on the information and law that you should not touch any wild animals, not feed them AT ALL (this is a very important one) and respect that you are in their home ❤️
I always feel little bit sad when my favorite vloggers feel necessity to explain their every joke and conduct. PS: I am glad you enjoyed your trip. Canada is one of my favorite countries to visit. PS:PS: Simon is real "city" boy , he could easily make to magazine cover ❤️
I am fortunate to live in Canada and have traveled both west and east, and have seen deer, bears and moose in the wild. It's a marvel to witness that never gets old ❤🇨🇦❤
Now this is what I call great entertainment! Stunning scenery, hilarious banter, yummy food, two lovely people enjoying life. Can’t wait for the next two instalments!
... so sweet you guys. I remember last year you and Debs were in Paris and Simon had red roses delivered to the hotel when you checked into you room. You forgot too ... I think you need to put in a reminder for next year - surprise him ❤️
I hope Simon got an off camera kiss for sorting out that beautiful hotel room 😂 I remember last year you were in Paris with Debs and he sent you flowers, such a sweetheart ❤️
I was laughing and a bit tearful as I watched this video; which by the way was beautifully filmed & edited. It has been some years since I visited Lake Louise and stayed at the Fairmont; watching this brought back all those wonderful memories. As a proud 🇨🇦I like to see the incredible beauty of my own country.
Being from Cslgary we never get sick of looking at or going to the mountains to enjoy what they have to offer. I hope you don't run into a bear while hiking as that is horrendously dangerous. They are never in the mood to "meet" people. Banff is the best place to get Bear Claws and Beaver Tails. If you get a chance stop by Emerald Lake as it is the most beautiful colour. Congratulations on you 4th anniversary. Enjoy the mountains and most of all stay warm and safe.
Love Fairmont Hotels. Our go to when visiting Toronto. Lake Louise is on our to visit list. Love this country of ours. So glad you enjoyed yourself. And yes, when in the mountains out west you need warm woollies, here in Ontario I am in shorts and t shirt and it’s Oct. 1 while the prairies are digging out of a major snowstorm. It’s a big country. LOL.
I somehow lost my door keys this morning whilst walking my dog. We got caught in a massive downpour and it took me an hour to get the spare key from a neighbour. I was feeling rather tearful by this point to be honest. But I’ve dried myself (and the dog), made a cup of tea and I know watching this vlog is going to cheer me right up. 😀
Oh Emma!!! I'm so excited that you were to Alberta. My daughter lives in Calgary so I know it quite well. It is so beautiful isn't it!!! Canada is beautiful. Now you have to make a trip to Newfoundland sometime on the east coast of Canada. During iceberg season!!!
Absolutely stunning! This was an amazing vacation. Beautiful photography and editing. I grew up in the mountains in the northeast U.S. and Bears, Deer, Squirrels, and other wildlife were a daily occurrence. Happy Anniversary to you both! ❤️
Beautiful stunning scenery, amazing editing and comedy gold as usual. Loved it as much as I knew I would. So sweet of Simon doing the room for you ☺️ The hotel looks absolutely spectacular, it’s like something out of a fairytale. I really hope you guys saw some Bears at some point. We saw some in Yosemite years ago (from a safe distance) but it was pretty special. Looking forward to part 2!
I bet you're grateful you're already back from this trip, given that parts of Southern Alberta received up to 100 cm (!!!) of snow over the weekend (Calgary got 30 cm). I was in the Rockies a few weeks ago and feel verrrrry glad to have missed this blizzard!
Yes pleased to have missed the travel chaos, although it would have been beautiful to see, although probably such a pain for the locals coming SO early in the year.
Welcome to Canada! 🇨🇦 I’ve been watching & loving your videos for a while and it is so unreal to see you in the country I live in. 😍I hope you and Simon enjoy your trip. Congrats on your anni 🥳
Belated happy 4th Anni.. surely the trip was the prezzie and much better to make memories that will last a lifetime. So glad you enjoyed Lake Louise..brought back wonderful memories of such a beautiful place and country. Looking forward to part 2..
Haha loved the excitement over Tims 🍩☕️. I’m a Torontonian, and that’s exactly how I felt when I was in the UK in August and found a Tims in Belfast 🇮🇪 😁. Ps: You guys missed the horrible snowfall in Calgary which happened on the weekend. Toronto on the other hand feels like July today (Oct 1st)...it’s currently 29 degrees ☀️. You gotta love Canada 🇨🇦
Happy Anniversary! This brought back so many meories of working for Fairmont out there years ago! Bear Claws and Beaver Tails are a touristy thing so you will likely find in Banff, maybe in Jasper! Enjoy!! PS... Dont miss Peyto Lake on your drive!
What a lovely place to visit thank-you for sharing. Great video work how you put it together was so good to watch. My kind of holiday ,looking forward to watching to the next one x
simons hat is on pointe!! and i love how excited you are about everything! Next year come hit ontario, we will take you up to the cottage in Georgian Bay!!
Wow! Just wow! Beautiful job of filming and editing (as always) but this was amazing. Thanks for taking us along. What a beautiful place! Looking forward to the next videos.
Wow them views amazing beautiful country hope to go to Calgary next year looking forward to next video thanks for bringing us along on your holiday ❤️🇨🇦
I can't tell you how much I love when visitors actually get excited by and appreciate our beautiful mountains. And FYI, Jasper is even better! Not as commercial, and quieter.
I loove you guys! Your vlogs are the best. The video was beautyfully edited (thanks Simon). Now I want to visit Canada, which I've never considered as one of my travel destinations. Much love from Brazil! 😘
@Emma Hill Ah already back.. But, you surely have made some fantastic memories. And on to the next trip! I am planning a roadtrip along the US eastcoast for next spring.
It’s so fun to “travel with” you two. Em, I think this Vlog series started the shacket trend! Traveling post-COVID-19 will be so different, it’s good that you got this trip in before the IT hit the fan, commenting on 29 November 2020, just discovered your travel vids.
I'm just west of the Rockies 🇨🇦. It's so much fun to watch people experience another country...especially your own. Hope you had a wonderful trip and 🇨🇦 didn't disappoint! Tim's! Awesome!
It’s a beautiful part of Canada...looking forward to your jasper vlog. If you’re into beaches and wineries come visit us in the okanagan in BC ❤️...thank you for being environmentally friendly during your visit too 🙂
Honestly, the quality of these videos, especially the scenery is phenomenal. You both do such a top job of delivering amazing shots, the humour is great and also the depth of info re bookings and locations and outfits etc etc etc. I have absolutely loved every second of this vlog and cannot wait to see the rest. Just a couple of questions, how easy / hard was it to find veggie / vegan food? The ugg snow boots- worth the money? Size up or size down?
We will be doing a Q&A type video (hopefully for next week) as we have had so many questions about the trip. We aren't vegan/vegetarian but always have a look at the menu, as I am quite a fussy eater so I often opt for a veggie option. I would say most of the places we went to had a salad option or veggie burger, but we also don't go to specific places for veggie food, if that makes sense. I would say the boots are true to size 👍🏼
Loved this. Looks like you had a great trip. I'm Canadian but have never visited there. We live on the east coast, in PEI. Dream Destination. I watched the video than clicked on the hotel link. Looks amazing. PS, nothing says hiker like a Gucci loafer , lol 😊. Looking forward to the rest of the vlogs

Amen to that! ❤👍
