I am in SoCal and you don’t need to remove the intake to pass smog!
I hate the smog test. My IS250 registration is due in July and the registration bill itself is only 140. Not bad! Oh but wait … smog test! More money to shelve out ! Gotta do this every two damn years. Damn! Haha
hey man I noticed you have that after market screen. I've seen this 1 but thinking about getting the VL2. what year is your car and did it have the factory navigation?
You can tell by the type of buttons he didn't have factory navigation. It really limits your options when you have the factory navigation. I have a 2012 IS250 F-SPORT w/ factory nav.
If I have a muffler delete will I pass smog
Not too relatable to you i think but I have the JoeZ intake with the stock airbox. Passes every time on :D.
Also do u have a tune to go with ur cold air intake

It won't pass visual. Mostly no CARB sticker and the breather... They don't do the sniffer test on newer cars I thought?
Yes, you're correct no sniffer for newer cars. He revved my car to about 2k rpms for about 10 sec tho. Not sure if he was checking for the cat or not that way
