This is top tier content. The banter and the captions made me LOL. And pretty plants? Also, your candid reaction to his choices are everything. I'd watch videos like this all day. You're funny as hell together
I mean this with all due respect (I know your names above the door 🚪) but we need more Ben on your channel. The vids with you two together are just the best! The pterodactyl is just beaut 😍 Adore your reactions 😂 Edit… I adore the variegated chestnut. That’s absolutely a 10. Who doesn’t love variegated nuts!!!!
Kaylee I am sure you would want to know the miconia (Miconia calvescens) tree is one of the world's 100 most invasive species according to the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). It is called the 'Green Cancer' due to the negative effects it has on the environment as well as its invasive characteristics: rapid growth, short generation time, its ability to both reproduce alone and vegetative propagation, and profuse production of seeds which are easily spread. It is the most invasive species and has annihilated 40-50 native species of plants completely in Tahiti & French Polynesia. It's gorgeous but I would mulch the damn thing! Loved the video. It was fun & I hope you do more like this with Ben. Some of the faces you made were so funny. Love your channel & I'm a long time viewer. 💚🌿🌱🍃🌵🍀
More Ben please! The chemistry the two of you have is fantastic! Btw... you are my FAVORITE! Your transparency is fantastic. Please continue to be unapologetically you because you are fabulous.
If I was in a garden center and stumbled upon that variegated cissus I would jump for joy. Kaylee you are on something to not think that cissus is the best. I can imagine it vining around a nice tall vivarium looking awesome.
first plant is probably a variegated macrorrhiza black stem. plumbea's leaves look pillowy, curved on the edge. serendipity is the pink variegated version of plumbea for reference
I have never seen nor heard of a Miconia before and its absolutely stunning even when its wilted from shipping. The variegated chestnut is absolutely gorgeous and would be a showstopper when planted outside and grows into full maturity. Cissus "Yes"
The miconia calvescence is actually invasive in hawaii, but on the houseplant market they're just popping into popularity/acknowladgement. The leaves can reach up to 2 feet in lenght and in some cases ecen more. The tree can grow around 15 meters in height, and 1 plant can produce milions of seeds. Tho I think airlayering would be best for fast indoor propagation.
Thank you for this. I was immediately smitten by the appearance but didn't know it could be such a trouble; being amongst the 100 most invasive and called green cancer..? Gosh.. looks can be totally deceiving... I wouldn't want it in our rainforest
I'm in Seattle and I would worry about having it here too, last thing we need is for it to develop any sort of cold hardiness. I would love a big photo though, it's gorgeous!
@@hoyaobsessed6576 There are plenty of beutiful images online, and cold hardiness wouldn't be something to worry about indoors, but if, only if it gains cold hardiness outdoors, it could be the next opuntia 😅
Fruit-bearing trees hold special place in my heart. As soon as Ben handed the Pterodactyl, I decided I will support his every choice in plants. Such an awesome vibe haul video!
Baaaahaaaaa!!!! I want to watch this again and again! Ooooh this is the best weird stuff ever!! Kaylee and Ben are the best comedic dup! Can I save this?
No on the variegated Cissus, I agree the coloring doesn’t look the best. I grow the regular kind and love it. If you want a beautiful variegated Cissus, google the variegated quadrangularis, it's stunning. I do really like the variegated Amydrium and can't wait to see what it will grow into. I also have to say Miconia BAD! I know there is no way it’s going to survive outdoor in the UK but it is considered one of the worst invasive plants in the world. They have super shallow roots, spread incredibly fast, grow in clumps, and quickly shade out natives. On vacation I personally saw a small landslide caused buy a stand of them getting washed out.
I love the Aglaonema Siam Aura, var. Pterodactyl, var. Scindapsus, philo strawberry shake, variegated bananas and that wilted purple big leaves... I think cissus is ok especially it's a variegated version.😊❤️
I love begonia, but I have had zero luck growing them, sigh. I grew up in San Diego, CA, USA and my late father had an incredible green thumb. He had a massive one of those trees n the back yard. I liked the fruit. My favorite were those last banana trees. Lots of people do like cisis (sp?). So that's a yes from me. Definitely more Ben!
Sorry to hear that. I’ve found it super easy. Stuck in water, rooted planted. On my second batch, already rooted again. I live in Texas, maybe our heat and humidity is in my favor.
Variegated Chestnut is super hardy...it'll do fine in the UK. We like Ben...more Ben!!!! More outdoor plants for sale will bring Ben to the front of the camera...LOL
This should seriously be an ongoing series. I loved every second of it! Your banter with Ben is gold. Laughed so hard and got to see some awesome plants, what more would one want? 😂 BTW, the Cissus is fine. I agree on the begonias though, they’re quite meh.
Cissus yes :) the problem with cissus discolor (not variegated) is - grows super fast. It is hard to keep up with that. I got spiral trellis, so it was easy for some time .... Now I have a bit of a problem :D
I hope my black velvet alocasia takes off. I have it in a highish humidity vivarium, so I'm cautiously optimistic. I'll be keeping the soil on the moist side most all of the time. It may totally dry out on the rare occasion. Jeez, I sure love those plants.
I really liked this with Ben. I loved the Variegated Musa, Pterodactyl, Scindapsis and the Agleonema Siam. Very nice haul. I love the banter between you and Ben.
that cissus is awesome. you can’t be mad at him for picking that, yes it is in garden centers, but not variegated. you have tons of monstera variegated, and you can find just the regular monsteras in garden centers
This was fun. I got a glimpse of Ben, thank you. That Aglonema is sooo pretty. Love it and that big droopy leaved one with maroon underside. Thank you for introducing. No to Cissus variegated. 22:06 Same here.
I wasn’t a fan of begonias either, then the couple that slipped in got big. Now begonias are taking over. They’re just so crazy diverse. They’re survivors too. Im shocked they’re not more expensive.
I looove the aglaonema I've seen so many cool colors from like Indonesia etc but none of them are making it to the states :( I haven't been able to keep a begonia alive but I love their look. No on the cissus.
Videos where is included are really so much fun to watch! I'm now only 3 minutes in and already laughing tears. The continuous completely honest conversation full of humour between you guys, that interaction, is absolutely the best! 😍🤣
This has got to be my favourite video of yours! The banter between you and Ben is just 👌🤣 actually liking the few garden plants dropped in too, very interesting!
The Miconia is considered one of the most invasive plants in the world and has devastated Hawaii’s ecosystem. It’s taken over a quarter of their forests and chokes out native species. Beautiful plant but man that thing is dangerous! Also, I would watch videos with you and Ben all day. So good!!!
I truly believe this should be a every 3 or 6 month episode of Ben ordering and you judging lol very entertaining
100% agree. I fully intend to watch this video more than once. This is prime content 😄😂
Agreed!!
This is top tier content. The banter and the captions made me LOL. And pretty plants? Also, your candid reaction to his choices are everything. I'd watch videos like this all day. You're funny as hell together
I am BEGGING for this to be a series
I agree, this was so fun to watch
Cissus hell no 😂 love this video! More please
The Ben noises with the wildebeast is top tier editing, Kaylee🤣
I mean this with all due respect (I know your names above the door 🚪) but we need more Ben on your channel. The vids with you two together are just the best!
The pterodactyl is just beaut 😍
Adore your reactions 😂
Edit… I adore the variegated chestnut. That’s absolutely a 10. Who doesn’t love variegated nuts!!!!
Yes
Yes! Love the banter
Well, my ex has virtiligo, if you want to see some variegated nuts, he's single now.
We are going to need an update video on all of these where you can either apologize or chastise Ben for them lol. That would be so fun!
Cissus Yes! And bring Ben back!! We enjoy the banter between you two.
I wouldn’t buy the cissus either. Looks like it has a fungus! Lol
The Ben content is golden!! You guys interacting is the best ever I love it!!

Like this style a lot
More Ben please! The chemistry the two of you have is fantastic! Btw... you are my FAVORITE! Your transparency is fantastic. Please continue to be unapologetically you because you are fabulous.
Cissus: yes.
More of Ben: yes.
Merry Christmas guys, and thanks for all you do.
The Aglaonema looks like a cartoon plant and I love it
Would definitely buy one
I really don't like Aglaonema, but that one is spiffy.
If I was in a garden center and stumbled upon that variegated cissus I would jump for joy. Kaylee you are on something to not think that cissus is the best. I can imagine it vining around a nice tall vivarium looking awesome.
Love the Cissus! Totally with Ben on this one. Really happy to see some Begonias as well. You definitely need to let Ben pick more often!
The look of disgust over the cissus was a highlight for me lol
first plant is probably a variegated macrorrhiza black stem. plumbea's leaves look pillowy, curved on the edge. serendipity is the pink variegated version of plumbea for reference
Cissus: hell no, Ben: YES!
I have never seen nor heard of a Miconia before and its absolutely stunning even when its wilted from shipping. The variegated chestnut is absolutely gorgeous and would be a showstopper when planted outside and grows into full maturity. Cissus "Yes"
Agreed!
I looked it up and it is listed as highly invasive, but its pretty
Highly invasive where I am in Australia, its taken over so much rainforest
Cissus nah… I always enjoy the Ben content 😂😂 do some more cocktails with him 😂
Omg yes, videos with Ben are so epic xD

From the plants Ben choose i could just tell his background is in outdoor gardening 🤣
This might be my new favourite format on your channel! 🎉 also: ben‘s accent is 👌👌👌
Cissus: Yes. And easy to propagate I expect. Never seen them variegated before, so good find.
I just love the banter between you and ben, Ive missed this. Ive been laughing the whole video. Thank you
The banter is just so great.
I actually do like/want the cissus... although that one in particular needs some help to be it's best self, lol
The first one I think that's Alocasia Plumbea Var. How exciting is that, it's a beautiful plant.
Fruit-bearing trees hold special place in my heart. As soon as Ben handed the Pterodactyl, I decided I will support his every choice in plants. Such an awesome vibe haul video!
ur interaction and bens weird sounds w ur editing is j so fun n wholesome n entertaining to watch i love it
When you focus on the leaf pattern, this cissus looks lovely. From the distance however, it looks like if it is bathing in bird poop.
Cissus is very difficult to grow in my experience. The leaves have a tendency to curl and get ugly if it gets even slightly dry.
Same. Very pretty but I think they hate me.
Wow. The absolute chemistry between you two is incredible! You're a reaI comedic duo. I feel like I could watch you both all day.
Baaaahaaaaa!!!! I want to watch this again and again! Ooooh this is the best weird stuff ever!! Kaylee and Ben are the best comedic dup! Can I save this?
I missed Videos with Ben! ❤️ It's so nice to see the interaction between you two! 😅 It's always so much fun!
Absolutely loved having Ben in the mix and hearing you guys banter back and forth!
Aww, love Ben 💖🥰
I wish Id have a friend like that.
More episodes like this! Its so hilarious seeing your interacrion about plants. 😂
I love all of your interactions with Ben. You two are hilarious! Give the people more! 🤣
No on the variegated Cissus, I agree the coloring doesn’t look the best. I grow the regular kind and love it. Thats so nice of him to get you those trees. They'll look great
Super fun watching you react to Ben. Love y'alls friendship!
I loved the outdoor trees. I have a variegated pink lemon tree that I'm a little in love with at the moment, google it 🙂
I love the Aglaonema Siam Aura, var. Pterodactyl, var. Scindapsus, philo strawberry shake, variegated bananas and that wilted purple big leaves... I think cissus is ok especially it's a variegated version.😊❤️
Honestly the cissus I’ve never seen in a garden center but it’s prettier without variegation. Looks like sulfur treatment 😂
Yeah. This is why it depends on the plant whether I like variegation. Doesn’t look attractive to me.
More Ben mystery plants! Or any with you both together.
Happy new year 🎉
I love begonia, but I have had zero luck growing them, sigh. I grew up in San Diego, CA, USA and my late father had an incredible green thumb. He had a massive one of those trees n the back yard. I liked the fruit. My favorite were those last banana trees. Lots of people do like cisis (sp?). So that's a yes from me. Definitely more Ben!
I love this. Ben's comments from the back are classic, especially the banter over the more woody plants!
Favorite video of all time! Watching you two bicker is the best! Seriously, so entertaining.
One of the best videos !!! Your energies really promote a fun dynamic!! More videos of these types please!
love the dynamic between you and ben, if he agrees to be on (or behind) camera more - yes please!
Love your and bens friendship x
My gummies just kicked in, this is hilarious rofl. I do like Cisus, but that one looks odd.
Could the first plant be an alocasia macrorrhiza dark stem variegata maybe? I liked that plant the most out of all the ones shown!
Oh man… I LOVEEEEE begonias!!!! Y’all should explore them and give them a chance!!!
Cissus discolor is not in many garden centers here. But the normal ones propagate super easily.
Really? I killed two cuttings before I managed to propagate it. And my propagation rate in aroids is around 100% :)
Sorry to hear that. I’ve found it super easy. Stuck in water, rooted planted. On my second batch, already rooted again. I live in Texas, maybe our heat and humidity is in my favor.
@@vicky3792 Most likely it's the humidity. Greetings from Poland coverd in snow. :)
This was hilarious. It reminded me of the people who try hard but are awful at buying Christmas presents.
Variegated Chestnut is super hardy...it'll do fine in the UK. We like Ben...more Ben!!!! More outdoor plants for sale will bring Ben to the front of the camera...LOL
Love hearing from Ben. He should tell us more about the outdoor potential of the plants you show
"The only thing, mate, that shit should have slipped into is a compost bin" 😂😂😂😂 11:10
YAAAS we need more of those!!!!!! It's the funniest thing watching you both
Please add this format to your content!! Love the way you both interact with each other and your blind reactions to his finds are hysterical.
Losing it with the chaotic energy in this one😂😂 Please have Ben in your videos more often!
PLEASE do more of these. Loved it
This should seriously be an ongoing series. I loved every second of it! Your banter with Ben is gold. Laughed so hard and got to see some awesome plants, what more would one want? 😂 BTW, the Cissus is fine. I agree on the begonias though, they’re quite meh.

Variegated cissus discolor was a great call! They fly off the shelves around here. I'd go for the Variegated! I think we need an update.
Merry Christmas to both you and Ben🎄🎁 I think that was awesome.
that cissus is awesome. you can’t be mad at him for picking that, yes it is in garden centers, but not variegated. you have tons of monstera variegated, and you can find just the regular monsteras in garden centers
Cissus yes!
Would like to get the var.loquat - have two green ones in my garden - awesome tree🌳 that looks great all year round!
This was fun. I got a glimpse of Ben, thank you. That Aglonema is sooo pretty. Love it and that big droopy leaved one with maroon underside. Thank you for introducing. No to Cissus variegated. 22:06 Same here.
Loved Ben, you guys are great together! That cissus is the cats meow! Would love to have one❤.
Apparently Miconia calvescens is an invasive species. 😂😂😂 It is slated for eradication in the tropical pacific.
Cissus Yes!! But very difficult plant to have at home, at least for me. Merry Christmas!!!
I adore that last tree!! It’s gonna be stunning wow 💚💚
Lol. Ben’s adorable.
cissus yes! i think it has some real potential for nice variegation !
I love it. I think next time you should do the shopping and Ben should present them.

This has got to be my favourite video of yours! The banter between you and Ben is just 👌🤣 actually liking the few garden plants dropped in too, very interesting!
Please do more plants like this I loved it
Cissus are really beautiful when you have a full plant. And they propagate easily.
I love the variegated loquat. I hope they offer them.
It's about time...Ben, where have you been? I've missed you. Love your taste in plants Ben, good choices. Lov you guys🥰💜
I love Ben and Kaylee content. Wonderful friendship
I love you and your work “husband” together!!
Very entertaining! I like the cissus and loved the Siam Aura as well as many others. Good work Ben ; )
Love your channel and your plants
I liked this video 😂 thanks for the sharing of the plants and the laughs
The Miconia is considered one of the most invasive plants in the world and has devastated Hawaii’s ecosystem. It’s taken over a quarter of their forests and chokes out native species. Beautiful plant but man that thing is dangerous!
Also, I would watch videos with you and Ben all day. So good!!!
Cissus no. Horrendous indeed.
Combo w/ Ben? Made my day! Thank you both for this high quality content.🌴
Ben hauls are my new favorite! this was too funny!
I love cissus but unvarigated. I've had the plant. It's such a diva for humidity but lovely jungle vibes. Also you'r banter is golden.
Video was so much fun! Love the interaction between you and Ben. More like this, please. Merry Christmas!
Cissus yes, but they are very picky. The loquat tree you will fall in love with as it grows.
I love the chemistry between the both of you
