Average beginner mindset. Firstly, yang wang plays long pips with thick sponge, so the more spin patrick puts into the tops the more he gets back. Secondly, yang wang's long pips don't care about the spin. They only care about the speed, or he only cares about the speed, so playing a slow top would just make it easier for yang wang to get them back. Thirdly, patrick's tops already have a lot of spin. You don't see that, because you think a topspin can only be either fast or spinny, but that isn't true for pros.
@@lummsmusik3219 Well the thing the spinny ball is pretty much always better and you can't really decide which ball to play in a bad situation, plus you(he) made a mistake anyway so it wasn't intended and he did also hit a lot of shots
That cracking back hand at 6:57...love it
Oh yes, that was fantastic!!!
What's Yang Wang's equipment?
It looks like that by barely touching the ball this one goes super fast. So is understandable that he misses so much
He uses spinpips d1 on bh
Patrick💪👊👍🏓
Franziska was very controlled and careful to overcome the backspin.
Patrick’s forehands were all very forward, more driving loops. I can imagine it makes them much more difficult to return with quality.
maybe the humidity is not favoring control oriented players for this tournament
Once again, this shows how disadvantaged blockers/choppers/defenders are. Best defense is a better offense.😂
But what can you do, when your chopping is better than your attack... 😉
Very powerful topspins by Patrick. But he also should change and use some more slower, spinier ones.
When you make a slow and spinnie one, there is as much spin as when the pros make a fast top spin

@@LucI10-p2w The pros get more spin into the ball with a really fast one than him with his spinniest one
@@michikatsutsugikuni3098 You are absolutely right but if the alternative is hitting the ball in the net I would prefer a slower, safer, spinier ball.
