Quando guardiamo complessivamente l'opera straordinaria di questo artista ci si chiede perplessi perchè non apre una galleria d'arte a Firenze o a Roma o a Venezia ! Nessuno come lui possiede il sentimento del tono urbano, del colore, il guizzo, lo scatto, la sciabolata (come quando si stappa lo Champagne con la sciabola) ;un incredibile talento della sintesi per accidente, nella complessità urbana delle nostre disgraziate metropoli ! C'è molto da dire su questo artista a suo modo un colorista sensibilissimo (vero maestro dei grigi colorati) nel solco dell'impressionismo moderno, contemporaneo . Lui e altri ( tutti amici) inaugurano una interelazione nuova (marketing) tra artista e fruitore "ragardeur" ben al di là della consueta complicità che si installa quando l'illusione ottica della sintesi richiede all'occhio del pubblico di completare l'opera ! Avrei tantissimo da raccontare su questo artista ma purtroppo il tempo è tiranno, forse in futuro muovero per lui un autentico caposcuola un corposo cenno critico che ne celebri la grandezza. Hay mucho que decir sobre este artista a su manera, un colorista muy sensible (verdadero maestro de los grises coloreados) en la estela del impresionismo moderno y contemporáneo. Él y otros (todos amigos) inauguran una nueva interacción (marketing) entre el artista y el usuario "ragardeur", mucho más allá de la complicidad habitual que se produce cuando la ilusión óptica de la síntesis requiere la mirada del público para completar la obra. I consider Castagnet an excellent watercolourist. That said, I want to point out that this demo is my favorite as it is didactic and fortunately free of his usual bragging. Most of his demos are overloaded with simplistic humor. His talent as a watercolourist is undeniable, but he does not have the linguistic aptitude that he flaunts, since despite his long years in Australia his English is quite poor, not to mention other languages he pretends to speak. Considero a Castagnet un excelente acuarelista. Dicho esto quiero señalar que esta demostración es mi preferida ya que es muy didáctica y afortunadamente está exenta de su acostumbrada jactancia. La mayoría de sus demostraciones están recargadas de humor simplístico. Su talento como acuarelista es innegable, pero no tiene la aptitud lingüística de la que hace alarde, puesto que a pesar de sus largos años en Australia su inglés es bastante precario, para no mencionar otros idiomas que él pretende hablar.

I consider Castagnet an excellent watercolourist. That said, I want to point out that this demo is my favorite as it is didactic and fortunately free of his usual bragging. Most of his demos are overloaded with simplistic humor. His talent as a watercolourist is undeniable, but he does not have the linguistic aptitude that he flaunts, since despite his long years in Australia his English is quite poor, not to mention other languages he pretends to speak.
Considero a Castagnet un excelente acuarelista. Dicho esto quiero señalar que esta demostración es mi preferida ya que es muy didáctica y afortunadamente está exenta de su acostumbrada jactancia. La mayoría de sus demostraciones están recargadas de humor simplístico. Su talento como acuarelista es innegable, pero no tiene la aptitud lingüística de la que hace alarde, puesto que a pesar de sus largos años en Australia su inglés es bastante precario, para no mencionar otros idiomas que él pretende hablar.
