BERNINA Q Series Winding a Bobbin

Here I show how to simply wind a bobbin on the BERNINA Q Series machines. This same technique applies to Q16, Q20 and Q24. Some threads that are more slippery require you to wrap them around the bobbin a few extra times.

My bobbin is jumping off the shaft as it winds! I have it "threaded" like the video shows.
