Having control of every situation is so important for an artist. Hayley did it so perfect, the audience helped her in the best way possible so the problem became just another reason for these people to have maximum fun. And that`s what live performance is all about.
Well damn, singing is such an emotional thing and to lose your instrument must be so devastating. I think she did a good job of managing the situation and I actually like that she just throws down the mic stand. Honest, but not over the top. Poor thing.
Sounds weird but I wish I could've been there to scream the words in their faces with the rest of the crowd to support Hayley, everyone looks like they had a blast and there's so much passion (band and crowd) despite the circumstances.
She was truly upset that night she wasn't going to be able to sing anymore for her fans. The fans sung for her. We made Hayley cry that night. Paramore forever.

It's sad. You could tell that she was struggling throughout the entire song. I lost my voice for a while about a year ago because I developed nodes on my vocal chords. It's all good now, but it was absolute torture for a while.

The fact that they went on promotion heavy schedule in late September 2009 before the Album and during the BNE release, she had like 4 or 3 shows where she had to sing songs like Decode and others, so I fully understand why her voice is shot in this show, cuz they've been playing live music shows before this show and like Hayley she always gives her 120% when she performs live.
instead of complaining about how she got sick, why don't you appreciate the fact that she has so much love for her fans that she risked her well being just to perform for everyone .
