BNE era really damaged her voice
It is great that you mark the year of the performances. She had a nodule in 2009 and changed her vocal coach after that. She said that her voice is much better after that. However, I don't quite observe the difference between the best and the worst performance. In general it is great but for the 09 lives there could really be some problem with her voice
I love that MTV unplugged performance, all of the songs because her voice just sounds so raspy and I love that.

I love how with Paramore's recent concerts they changed it up a bit to make it more interesting.
Got to see them live in February 2018 (so like this month but it's almost over) and their performance of Ignorance was just amazing.

Her worst is literally when she's jumping around and in high energy lmfao plus her voice is probably tired from touring and such in alot of them can't help that especially how powerful she is most the time can easily get strained and tired.

my favourite version of the "Oh Father" outro is still a Radio 1 Big Weekend performance but I prefer the 2008 one over the 2013 one. I find the vocal run at the end of "the mighty palm of your hand" ruins the flow. Sounds better as a long, sustained belt IMO.

Zainab Salah with an unhealthy technique everybody can sound raspy after damaging your vocal chords. She had vocal nodes in 2009 bc of her bad technique. She was hurting her voice so much :(
Zainab Salah in bne she sounded more raw but now she sounds so Healthy and also she doesnt strain her vocals too much

mayb her vocals don’t sound the best @ the live am ring but the intro she did for renegade in the same performance was absolutely killer....
If you actually pay attention to what she is doing in almost all of the “bad” clips, you would understand that singing while jumping up and down giving it your all to pump up the crowed and give them a true performance makes it extremely difficult to stay on perfect pitch or correct breathing. Absolutely nothing wrong with any of those clips. Why do you think most pop stars or boy bands that do a ton of dancing lip sync? Not because they don’t have any talent. But because the body isn’t meant to be in vigorous motion while singing. Look at the “good” clips and see that she is mainly standing mostly still or sitting. Not jumping around. Her air control is optimal for supporting those insane notes she is able to sing. If anything, this video shows her talent with how even in motion she can sing so much better then many other vocalists.
