The 70 Roadrunner is my favorite. I had a blue one when I was younger. 383 air grabber hood. Man I would give anything to have that car again. Nothing is nicer than a 70 Roadrunner in your driveway. I must say, that white looks nice on that Roadrunner. Well done.
Had a few 70 Roadrunners in my day. Just wanted to Thank you ALL at Graveyard Carz for doing what you do! The sharing of knowledge, your passion and enthusiasm for these amazing cars and the Mark workmanship that goes into every build is simply amazing. Thank you!
This Roadrunner isn't even my car, and it had me in tears. Why? Because I was forced to sell my Six Pack Superbird (in Alpine white, of course) because of a divorce decades ago. I never saw or heard from it again. All I know is that a police officer from Utah is the one who bought it. Even after all these years, it still hurts to think about it.
My grandfather and father are Mopar men and so am I. There’s just something about Mopars that hit different than other car manufacturers. Dragstrip might is part of the feel and the colors and personality are huge parts of the magic that Mopars have. Anyone who has hung around drag strips know that a Mopar sounds different than any other make. Fellow Mopar fanatics are another part of what sets Mopar brotherhood apart from other makes. Mopars are just plain magic. Mopar or no car.
I swear I had one or I should say redid the whole car back in 91 looked EXACTLY like that mine was a 440 4 speed built up it ran 11.80 all day long. Bought it in a barn just outside of Westminster Md had it a few years after I put a fortune in it then traded it for a mint 70 RT Charger 6 pack 4 speed was yellow with the factory black stripes. Man I miss that Roadrunner.
I'm watching from down under Mark and you've got me hooked. Sometimes I'll swear that you have completely lost it but I know that it's just you. Your MOPAR knowledge is just amazing. I deal on a weekly basis with approximately 120 workshops in the eastern suburbs of Melbourne and only one works on the cars we love. It frustrates me that GM and Ford prevail here but we know better don't we.
I can't decide on the 69 or the 70 Roadrunner, but my dream car for sure either way....remarkable build, fantastic story. I love what you do. When I hit the lottery please build my car
Mark and the crew at GC are so cool at what they do the happiness they bring to people with there builds is so cool and cars where cars in the day nowadays there just transportation without character, MOPAR is best 🙂
I was never a big Mopar fan. Back in the ‘70s, Chrysler products were considered as cheaply made and seemed rather junky. Nowadays, people spend big money to “restore” them. Yes, a good “restoration” is expensive but the build quality is usually better than from the factory . I appreciate seeing these cars as they were meant to be.
Great moment in life’s true in any conversation as with Mark ,at a point with memories, we live those memberships ,and they make us! Would not trade it for anything!
Growing up my Uncle had a 68 Dodge Charger SE, Dark Green Poly, Black Vinyl Roof, White Interior Bucket Front Seats, Console Shift Automatic, Am/FM Radio, AC, Had a 318, 727, 8 ¾, 3.23:1 Rear End, Both Chrome Mirrors drivers was Remote, Hood Mounted Turn Signals, the Brakes was odd as it was a late production had the 69 front Brakes with the 68 Rear Brakes which we would out on a vacation in the mountains when the front brakes went out, It had the Steel Wheels with the Large Caps, Even though it was a 318 it was one of the most beautiful Chargers. He's getting up in age now former Diesel Mechanic and has had a ton of health issues, how ever if I ever could do it I'd love to be able someday to get him one as identical to what he had. I know he would be tearing as much if not more if he had another one. I found a Die Cast similar to it few years ago except it had the Magnum Wheels but he was in tears. He's got a few Photos of it when I was a kid standing next to it. The only thing id do different would be either the Magnum's or Rallye's on it and even though not availalbe id go with a 340 in it just so it would move down the road. Thanks for such a great show and love seeing these kind of Episodes.
Me too, I think they look good on any 60s or 70s muscle car, I'm kinda indifferent about how they look on an 80s vehicle which I have ATM. If in the future I go back in years the first thing I'm doing is Cragar's, I'm not buying new ones. Gotta find an older USA made set or I'm not doing it, no overseas made wheels on an American muscle car.
Part of the reason those heavy cars were so cool is they hold the road due to weight. Some good proper tires with a bit of width and they are great for road racing. I could fly on dirt back roads in cars I owned back in the 70's and 80's. Even into the 90's you could still find nice used ones. I was a Mopar guy. I destroyed my bas ass Mopar. It was a dodge Coronet with a Hemi in it factory stock. 66 . It was a sleeper by looks but stick your foot it and it was gone. Too much for as I did total flying and pushing it. I totaled. The engine was saved. I do not have either anymore.
I owned *I think as a1972 Challenger that was as gold color paint, white leather interior. *forgive, me , it's been a few years. It was the 383 engine model. And, I was taking notice, as to recent builds, even as some rather more historical pictures. I don't see that color. I just remember liking the interior seat design and the horseshoe shifter with detent center and below. I recall huge caution when it snowed, as it was so powerful it was all to easy to break traction and tail slide a bit sideways. It had many design features as the "cuda".
I wish Mark would understand that there is no rivalry between muscle car brands. My first car was a 1966 Impala and my second car was a 1967 Barracuda fastback. It’s off putting when he talks high school nonsense like he was a picked on geek. I love the cars they build and I love all of the trivia. Mark needs to stop being “that guy” and turning away an entire audience over brand nonsense. Mark could leave his stamp on the Mopar brand with a lifetime achievement if he would grow up and rise to the occasion.
Mark is an awesome guy truly. What caught my attention though is he said they put a tremec 6 speed that's been modified to fit into a b body mopar. Does that mean that there is a bolt in 6 speed for 66-70 b bodies from SST? Is it the T56?
I could cry too if Mark would give me another b5 blue 71 Challenger with blue interior and white vinyl roof. I pray to Jesus for someone to deliver this unto me,
Keeping gas in that roadrunner is a challenge... $$$'s Twice a month weekend driver.... Mark let Will do his job! He isn't interested, just the paint codes...
At 18 minutes and 30 seconds, it appears that the stripe across the lid of the trunk doesn't line up with the side panel. Is that just an optical illusion?
The tags were originally painted with only one screw holding it to the apron bent up so paint hit everything. After paint the second screw was put in to hold it down.
Mark, when schooling your paint guy, you said the GTX model came out in 68???????? If you said 68 - you are wrong! Lol In 1967 Plymouth came out with the G…….
During the test drive, I assume it’s his son in the backseat. He seems very unInterested and on his phone. Typical of the kids today. My son is a rare breed, he’d be all over that car, and his chin will be glued to the front seat, waiting for his turn to drive.
It’s out in the open because of arrogance! And someone who doesn’t know how to manage people. You don’t chastise employees in front of others, especially when it’s in the millions.
I like the show, but he must understand that some of the info he's giving out is not that important to everyone. At the end of the day, it's about what will someone be willing to pay for it having some unseen things not correct
8:45 Not to be a prick, but why is the hood on the driver's side sitting too high above the front fender? And on a reveal. Thought you guys were perfectionists?
These uploads are so out of order, and the same episodes keep getting uploaded over and over, no one can follow the builds that spill over into other episodes because there are no proper titles to them. I love the show but this is a bit chaotic.
Mark wished he had a son. Instead he has a daughter that has 2 baby daddies and one is a black guy who works at a cell phone store. Talk about a winner. Lol
😢why am I crying, it's not even my car...that's just an awesome build
The 70 Roadrunner is my favorite. I had a blue one when I was younger. 383 air grabber hood. Man I would give anything to have that car again. Nothing is nicer than a 70 Roadrunner in your driveway. I must say, that white looks nice on that Roadrunner. Well done.
had one to black on black i wish i had it today had a blast driving it. p.s. lucky i am still alive.
You didn't like the Super Bee? Sort of the predecessor to the Road Runner. They also quit making them in 71 after the road runner hit
70 roadrunner is my favorite car. My favorite color is black my second favorite color is white. I love this show
Ditto. Had one back in high school. F-8 green. Stick. Grabber. If only a guy knew how desireable they'd be 40 years later...
Tear jerker episode…Beautiful Episode…Beautiful Show…Amazing Artists All of You are🦾🔥
Had a few 70 Roadrunners in my day. Just wanted to Thank you ALL at Graveyard Carz for doing what you do! The sharing of knowledge, your passion and enthusiasm for these amazing cars and the Mark workmanship that goes into every build is simply amazing. Thank you!
Cars have to be original, like you bought them off the show room floor only way I buy them!👏
Holy shit! If you need me to cry, bring me an old Mopar! I'm just crying along with this guy at the absolute beauty of this car!
This Roadrunner isn't even my car, and it had me in tears. Why? Because I was forced to sell my Six Pack Superbird (in Alpine white, of course) because of a divorce decades ago. I never saw or heard from it again. All I know is that a police officer from Utah is the one who bought it.

Great to see a dude his age getting his life's car
You guys were able to "spring" this car back to life and it was "mint" to be perfect
I swear I had one or I should say redid the whole car back in 91 looked EXACTLY like that mine was a 440 4 speed built up it ran 11.80 all day long. Beautiful job, as a vicarious experience this was wonderful build, a fantastic and heartfelt trip, just plain fine.
I'm watching from down under Mark and you've got me hooked. Sometimes I'll swear that you have completely lost it but I know that it's just you. Your MOPAR knowledge is just amazing. That car is SO BEAUTIFUL!!
I love this friggin show. I always remember the first car my dad had growing up, was a 1971 yellow Plymouth Fury with a Black Vinyl top
I can't decide on the 69 or the 70 Roadrunner, but my dream car for sure either way....remarkable build, fantastic story. I love what you do. When I hit the lottery please build my car
Love the show Im hooked! I bought my 1969 Road Runner for $750. in 1978. Ive had alot of cars thru out the years, but miss my mopar!
That is one awesome machine. I had a seven year-old runner, four speed, but mine was a 383 two barrel odd but I love that car. I wish I still had it.
Another OUTSTANDING JOB Guys !! HoooAH !!
Great craftsmanship a Body man of 40 years / sorry for your loss
Paramount work Mark, absolutely beautiful.
I LIKE WHAT U DID, HE IS VERRY LUCKY TO HAVE U.
Mark is the best host. Because he give it all. Mark entertains with his humor, threw the years.
Thank You Mark . . .
Mark and the crew at GC are so cool at what they do the happiness they bring to people with there builds is so cool and cars where cars in the day nowadays there just transportation without character,
MOPAR is best 🙂
Fantastic build!!! //Lars

Look at Dougie rockin' the Babbit shirt!! My family buys all their snowmobiles and ATVs from Babbits! Great company to deal with for sure.
Great moment in life’s true in any conversation as with Mark ,at a point with memories, we live those memberships ,and they make us! Would not trade it for anything!
Love the Mopar. Mark keep up the Great Work!
I had a 71 blue road runner with big engine that tattled the Windows in the house!
An all around great episode.
Beautiful cars , never realese this culture .. is amazing the pledge of the Team .. Grettings .

Love your episodes! Keep it up. I live in the gorge, I’ll have to visit sometime on my next trip south.
I love Cragers on a muscle car. I had em on my 71 Duster. It makes it look like a Hot Wheel.
Me too, I think they look good on any 60s or 70s muscle car, I'm kinda indifferent about how they look on an 80s vehicle which I have ATM. Back when I bought a 69 Runner and it was mint for $2500, sad to see times have changed I’m sure this guy shelled out at least 60 k for this car.
Finally Mark got it wrong
GTX intro was 67 not 68 as Mark glistened lol
Favorite revile ever.
RIP Larry!
This should be a favorite episode, more car and client less cheezie shenanigans. 👍

@@johnnyduplantis Miss those days and most importantly miss those cars. That crap they make today is ridiculous.
Mark is the Godfather of Mopar
I owned *I think as a1972 Challenger that was as gold color paint, white leather interior. *forgive, me , it's been a few years. It was the 383 engine model. QC with a canned drink in her hand?!
Mine was green ❤😅🎉
how much did/does it cost to have that done? I really like it!
❤love...this!
Not crazy about Mark, but his shop produces great Mopars
Mark is an awesome guy truly. What caught my attention though is he said they put a tremec 6 speed that's been modified to fit into a b body mopar. Does that mean that there is a bolt in 6 speed for 66-70 b bodies from SST? Is it the T56?
It’s only missing a black rear spoiler to set it off.
Dream Maker!!
And THAT folks is what they looked like on the showroom floor
I could cry too if Mark would give me another b5 blue 71 Challenger with blue interior and white vinyl roof. I pray to Jesus for someone to deliver this unto me,
Keeping gas in that roadrunner is a challenge... $$$'s Twice a month weekend driver.... Mark let Will do his job! He isn't interested, just the paint codes...
Let the painter do what he do.
YES, BUT IN 1970' GAS WAS ONLY $.36 A GALLON ❣️
At 18 minutes and 30 seconds, it appears that the stripe across the lid of the trunk doesn't line up with the side panel. Is that just an optical illusion?
"BEEP BEEP"❣️
Martinez, hammers
The best hammer in the world
Was Mark wrong? The GTX was introduced in 1966 not 1968 as he said.
You hired him to paint, not to be a history buff. Let him do his job, he is good at it.
Not true the 426 Hemi put out closer to 490 hp. 425 was to keep insurance people happy. Plus the 426 had more torque close to 500 ft lbs.
This would be a great program if you got rid of that mark wormhole guy
How much more did he pay to get it done early?
We didn't them because they were so dang expensive...just like today!
Didn’t hear the dump tubes for open headers
Someone please explain to me when he says Tom Colin says M-O-O-N spells Mopar
Just love the car I'm kind of surprised your daughter had a open can of pop in with her on the 1st test drive though !
😆
But…what about the dog? 🤔
What’s with the tag screws? One is painted and the other is not.
The tags were originally painted with only one screw holding it to the apron bent up so paint hit everything. After paint the second screw was put in to hold it down.
Mark, when schooling your paint guy, you said the GTX model came out in 68????????
If you said 68 - you are wrong! Lol
In 1967 Plymouth came out with the G…….
Marks team is great but he seems to need the attention like he done it
Martinez looks like Tommy Lee Jones.
Needs to have stock wheels
Temp gauge was not reading
During the test drive, I assume it’s his son in the backseat. He seems very unInterested and on his phone. Typical of the kids today. My son is a rare breed, he’d be all over that car, and his chin will be glued to the front seat, waiting for his turn to drive.

cool
@12.00 i am enclosing my $9.95 for the "Super Bee" racing jacket offer in 2xl thanks
Road runners are a highway runner they were built to run not dawdle around town!!
I like the show, but he must understand that some of the info he's giving out is not that important to everyone. At the end of the day, it's about what will someone be willing to pay for it having some unseen things not correct
Real 426 car!??
Or
440
Love the show love the cars but could be even better if mark toned down his crap
Owned a 70 Roadrunner back in 73. Miss that gas guzzler. But hate created drama just to sell a show.
lol, my 800hp F150 will snap your neck, bolt on whipple, oh boy
I would rather watch dead dodge garage than tolerate Mark
A newer Hemi huh, ok...
🇨🇦❤️🇨🇦
OH wow another 70 Runner that's turn into a boat anchor with a new hemi. Yea I know to each his own............
Drama Drama Drama it’s why I can’t watch this channel!
Yet here you are!
😭
Why cant he shut UP!
8:45 Not to be a prick, but why is the hood on the driver's side sitting too high above the front fender? And on a reveal.
Thought you guys were perfectionists?
Thith
Could be a great show. Too bad about all the silly , uninteresting attempts at humour .
little man big ego
These uploads are so out of order, and the same episodes keep getting uploaded over and over, no one can follow the builds that spill over into other episodes because there are no proper titles to them. I love the show but this is a bit chaotic.

Nothing like a judgemental racist a- hole
At the end your talking about a 69 roadrunner but pics of silver one is a 70.......
