@@guiremcguire743 wow I missed your questions way back! I actually don’t own it yet but looking at various Soma instruments right now. Life long musician but no video making for the most part. So far. Caught you on the Modular World pulsar-23 special event. Excellent! I’m on the waiting list for the Terra but I went to Three Wave Music and played with both the p23 and L8 I need to… prioritize. But this could be in my future. Anyway thanks again and looking forward to more videos.
This is really great! I was playing around and found an alternate patch that will create a slap bass sound by eliminating the shaos/noise/clock patch. You can then create a trigger sequence using the envelope of say the hihat into a gate in, do the output of that over to the VCA in as you have above, and then use the LFO as the CV for the gate and you now have a clocked bass beat that goes with the hihat trigger and then is triggered on/off by the LFO. You can now play as you would with tuning and activating with your finger on the CV.
@@guiremcguire743 I have not. While I do have a discord account, I feel that sometime in the last couple years I slipped into the stage of life of 'How do I program the dang VCR?' and have to have somebody 30 years younger explain all that stuff to me. I'll jump on it again and see if I can stumble my way around it!
Excellent presentation of idea and execution! I’m sure more of these would be appreciated by many. Thanks for sharing!
Thanks! I’m glad you got something out of it. I’m having so much fun exploring the Pulsar. What are you doing with yours? Do you make videos?

Nice approach! I’m going to play around with this today!
@@guiremcguire743 Excellent! Let me know if you run into any difficulties as I'm not sure if I explained it all that well.
@@cooperdeats406 I’ll reach out with any difficulties. Did you join S.R. Wilson’s SOMA discord? Pretty cool spot.

@@guiremcguire743 that will keep me coming back for sure , I find myself stuck often but these ideas are changing that!
Thanks very much! Not really trying to “make music” in the end. I just wanted to run the technique through its paces. Glad you liked it though! :)
