    If you like it, that’s cool, if you don’t, that’s cool as well.
    Remember, context is important, I can’t show/film every part of every test otherwise I’d still be there now😂just assume I’ve carried it out correctly

    Neat install. Good workmanship. Tt systems can be a pain in different soils. Have had to drill holes around rod area and pour salt down holes. It can sometimes help lower readings.

      Thanks mate, pouring salt? That’s a new one for me! Fair play🤙🏻

      Would that not cause premature corrosion of the rod?

    Nice neat job buddy, down here in Wales we've got a lot of TT earthing and it can be a pain in the ass to get a good reading. Where did you buy the driver bit to go on your SDS ?.

      CEF sourced it for me, prob have to remortgage when the invoice comes through

    Tidy work. I’ve got a long SDS bit and quite often drop that as a pilot. More times than not it’s because I’m hitting the foundation strip, but you don’t want to put rods out in the middle of the garden! I’ve never used an earth pit, looks well tidy, might try one next time.

      I normally use a 1m 10mm SDS bit exactly like you, on this occasion however I bought the linian bit to try out.

    Nice install. I am curious to know how long are your ground rods there ?

    Whats the name of the actual box you use to terminate that mate? An earth pit?

    Does the gas come in underground to that property.
    If so you have balls of steel. I would have bailed on that big time lol.

      @@bristolsparkyMaybe for the next video make it a couple minutes longer and show the process of why you were 100% confident on placement. Did you cat scan the ground etc? It would be good to know how.

    Disappointing reading. Have you seen the new(ish) Condudisc? Much better than an earth rod. More expensive to buy, but much more durable & much lower resistance. You have to dig a pit, but probably rather less struggle than a rod. I got a reading of 14.9 ohms with mine.

    Shouldn't have put that big lump on the end and just stuck the rod in, good job but high reading, denso tape should be used instead of grease but nobody uses it,

    • @bristolsparky
      @bristolsparky  Год назад +1

      Big lump? Reading is stable. Lubricant/grease is also an appropriate method.
