I almost did that once. I got close to drinking paint water, dipped a brush in my tea, and almost had a friend drink slime activator because it was in a water bottle on my desk and the label had started wearing off. Pay attention and label your stuff, guys XD

Just like Picasso was copying Van Gogh by using the same medium? Or any artist who uses a drawing tablet is just copying the first person ever to use one? Jazza certainly wasn't the first person to think of painting with coffee, and Kasey Golden isn't the first person to think of painting a girl floating in midair. Merging the two ideas and presenting a new perspective is what we call creativity- there's no such thing as a new idea, just old ideas mashed together in a new way.
I once painted white eggs (for easter) with foods/drinks, I used coffee (brown), spinach (green), red cabbage (purple), beetroots (red) and turmeric (yellow), was a lot of fun.

Guess what? Jazza did not invent coffee painting. Coffee has actually been used as a painting medium for years and years. :P Also many many people have been posting coffee paintings on youtube before Jazza even did. It was just bad timing. We still love them all though.

Even if Jazza did make this challenge (which he did not) no one would be copying him because when someone makes a challenge it pretty much gets around everywhere. So it wouldn’t even be called copying as long as you said who first made this challenge and if ya don’t know then...who cares.

If you were going to do a tea painting you could try different kinds of tea to get different colours/ shades . Eg, green tea, regular tea, infused tea, etc.

tooslandia omg, I was just thinking she could create a character useing wine and another with tea. and personify the beverages through the characters, she'd be able to do this because wine is made straight from grapes and tea can be made straight from a bunch of things. plus they stain paper the same way as coffee. I'd buy copies of that art just as I would this one.
Hey! Did you try to boil the strong coffee to create even more black smooth paint? It evaporates the water and by that you could in theory easily make it as black as you want.
I'm more of an accidentally drinking my paintwater gal myself but I love the browntones you got with the coffee

I know long time ago people would use foods or liquids to Create paintings ,drawings, or for make up.
Also for anyone who is wanting to try this out here's tip:
add more Coffe to make it darker but still add water.

My family has a holiday house 3 hours away, with a really winding road, and i would always get carsick. My mum would always bring coffee, especially when it was just her and us kids. Now the smell of coffee reminds me of being carsick, and I can’t ever sit next to the kitchen at cafes or I throw up.

I have been painting with coffee for years as my father did annual coffee painting galleries where he painted 30 coffee paintings for 30 days. He started painting with coffee in probably about 2010 or 2011. So I've been painting with coffee for quite some time. It is really a lot of fun and everyone should try it sometime.

This came out so well! The line art really pulled it all together, the skin and hair were almost blending together before it since you were having trouble getting dark tones. I’d love to see this with tea, especially since there are so many different kinds of tea! Imagine an illustration of light browns and greys and a sudden pop of green matcha? Beautiful!
I'm more of a coffee person myself, though I was raised on homemade teas so I do love tea as well. I don't drink it much, however, since in my family we mainly drink either homemade tea or lemon & ginger flavored tea.. My parents were never much into tea bags, so by default I'm not either. I do like iced tea though so long it's quite strong and sweet.
My Sketchbook daily prompt was 'coffee'. Yesterday's was 'ink' so I painted with mushroom ink, so I wanted to paint with coffee today! You were top of the suggestions list. What a great tutorial, so much fun and very informative. Thank you - mainly tea, but one coffee a day!

I am both a coffee and a tea person I just realy love both and drink both regularly.
I have so many different tea flavors and at some point I want to try and make art with them cause they have different colors and some can get really dark while others stay super light and I think it would be a lot of fun playing around with that.
On that note I wanted to say thank you because I have been exploring your channel for a few weeks now and I love it! Your videos inspired me to go ahead and try new things and they really helped me feel better in many ways so yeah thanks for making videos for all of us to watch ^-^

No, Sauce art. Which includes ketchup, mustard, marenara, ect.
This used to be a common and well-known thing my friend, ketchup is just gross. It's kinda sad people are just rediscovering this now since it's a legitimate medium. My great grandmother actually, rather than with normal paints because it was expensive at the time, made coffee her oils, just like several artists. She could also get very realistic stuff and an impressive range of browns and even greys by diluting it.

Usually when i have a corndog i put the ketchup on the side and dip the corndog. If i have left over ketchup i use the corndog stick and mess with the ketchup and try to do art...i feel like im the only one who does that..

I like iced tea ,not the instant kind, but the more freshly brewed type that actually tastes like tea. I also love making my own by experimenting with combinations of flavouring and tea mixes, then chilling my concoctions😋
