Ah one of my favorites from the Siege of Terra, a man who survived being thrown from a crashing ship. Saved babies from warp creatures, and killed a demon with a pipe.
I love the humor and humility of the white scars. They are just one of those legions/chapters I would want to be a part of if I was an astartes because they are so much more than killing automatons that many other astartes seem to be. May the Khan watch over his sons while they protect humanity with a laugh on their lips
Hail, Remembrancer. I just wanted to take a moment to say thank you, sincerely, for the time, effort, and heart you put into your works. I am a d&d Forever GM, and I pull heavily on your logs to craft interesting NPCs for my players to interact with, and your narrations always give me some new inspiration to write and craft things that are wholly my own. May the Emperor protect and guide you as you undertake the most holy of duties to his Imperium, Remembrancer.
I just finished reading Warhawk of Chogoris, Scars and Path of Heaven over the past few weeks. I read them years ago and rarely re-read a novel but these are amongst the rare exceptions. I got into warhammer when I was a kid in the early 90's and never even gave the White Scars a second thought until I read Scars. Now they're my favourite legion and my favourite heresy novels. Thanks for the video!
Shiban Khan was the important White Scar for us the reader as he was one of the few individuals to find the redemption that so many were seeking during the Heresy, and he was also an example of how the seemingly barbaric savages of the White Scar were instead prove to everyone in the Imperium to be the one of the most noblest warriors the Imperium will ever produce.
Mortis was probably weakest of Siege of Terra, but the parts about Shiban were gold. Those could be turned into awesome movie on their own. No backwards step!
After reading the Emperor and Horus’s fight could you imagine being Jaghtai when the Emperor first showed up. Horus just in the background with the meanest “ we will fuck you up” look you’ve ever seen
@@guilliman1990 that's true, very clever, I did mean as a franchise not a time period. It wasn't called warhammer 30k in 1997 when I read white dwaf. Or was it? Might have just been warhammer? I did readwhite dwarf then. Are you as olden as me?
I must saw the wgite scar books are some of the finest writing out there. I can see all reasons for everything they all do. And it always breaks my heart.
To each of us falls a task. And all the Emperor requires of us Guardsmen is that we stand the line and we die fighting. It is what we do best. We die standing.

Can I say it now...."NO BACKWARD STEP "
Withdraw, then return.
Glory to the Warhawk!! Glory to the 5th legion, and all those who chase the wind!
The White Scars continue to fascinate me. The Kahn will return. For there is No Backward Step....
30k characters are just sooooo deep even if they only have a short story to tell .
I mean 30k is levels above any 40k has done in years an years.
It is my firmly heald belief that Shiban has the best character arc of any astartes in the Heresy and Siege books.

I love shiban and torgun's story! White scars are one of my three favorite legions

That was truly epic and beautifully portrayed. Thank you.

OH MAN....THIS WAS A ROCKSTAR OF AN ASTARTES RIGHT HERE!!!
EFFING LOVED THIS STORY MY FRIEND!
🫵🏻🤘🏻🤘🏻
This one was really good. For a while, I forgot it was you, I was just listening to the story, picturing it, being in it. Good job.
More Scars you bloody legend!!!
Hint: no backwards steps were used commonly by torghun when they were back in chodax😢 he never forget
That was dope buddy!
NO BACKWARD STEP!

Great video as always! 🖤
Jagatai is the most level headed primarch. Loyal, but not stubborn like dorn. He accepted the truth and escaped deception because he used his head.
My admiration for the White Scars just grew, especially that excerpt at the end.
23:29 if you listen closely you can hear The Salamanders clapping in approval
For the khaan!
Legend says that his preferred weapon for Daemons was a chair, when this broke he picked up a pipe...
For Chogris! For the Khagan!

The White Scars are the best part of the space marines hands down.

I want to start reading black library books for the white scars, do you have any recommendations?
I’d recommend Scars and Path of Heaven.
Is Hibou dead, i read that he was still alive but unconfirmed in whereabouts or status

This was so good. I love the White Scars
Literally my favorite character in the Heresy/Siege books, I built my Captain in my army after him lol
True heroes
Shiban in certain Slavic languages means "fkd".
Especially in the way it is currently spelled.
doubt the skills of the sons of the kaghan at your own risk
