Some routes are longer than others and you won't make the landfill in time if you don't hussle. Also, we have our route sheets with set expected times to be done at the end of the day. The managers will start asking questions if you start going past that time.
When I drove Rear Loader if we didn’t have Right hand drive on the truck we drive on the left side of the street so driver can get out on same side as the helper so it’s easier for both of the workers. Work as a team not like these drivers just drive that’s BS The driver supposed to set the pace of the route remember the helper is there to help you pick up the route that you are i charge and responsible for the route but leaving the helper out there by himself is not cool .
Who cares? It's garbage and you put it out so it can be taken away. There was some lady who had a lot of garbage at the curb while I was taking it after christmas and she said I could take it all. Then she asked if I was going to have enough room because she had a lot of garbage
