Well TO is an idiot and a troll, and he was overrated as an athlete because he was a diva as well. All of these amplified everything he did on the football field and he leveraged that to become a media personality. Where is TO now? That would be a more interesting video than this.

I’m not a sports person, my Nan is. He would show me clips of topics that would be interesting to me because it crossed over the drama news and I liked Max. SAS is annoying to me and makes me angry at times. But Max has a way of telling his story and knowledge and I liked how he stood his own ground. I do think he actually has a dashiki and wears a Kinte cloth hat.

Nah listen I watched and liked it but it was espn ..if they linked up did their thing had cursing and been themselves it would've been 🔥...now don't get me wrong either if I'm at work it has to be appropriate to watch but now you have phones and most people not all but most watch these shows when they are alone so you can hear cursing etc

Yesterday was my final day after 11 years on air at ESPN. This perfectly encapsulates the companies approach to talent management and development. My whole time there, I felt like I was working FOR the company rather than WITH the company. And try to gaslight you into thinking you aren't good enough to advance or pay more; constant carrot and the stick. Thanks for getting the word out, refreshing to hear.

I actually stopped watching when he left. I never liked Stephen A. the closest I could come to it was watching him mock Dallas fans. Much of the time I could barely stand listening to him ramble on yelling and generally doing too much.

One of the best times in life was driving to work from the 818 to the 805 listening o Max and Marcellus every morning. Then they moved to afternoons. Spent 2 hours in traffic every day listening to those dudes.

I also loved Speak for Yourself so much😭 stopped watching both shows after you left. You’re a great commentator and on-air talent and I hope to see you on broadcast again in the future!!!
The Max and Marcellus Show is what got me through many long drives with both insight and laughs. This dynamics duo needs to definitely be recreated somehow, someway!
I won't front like I'm a big fan of Max (nothing personal, just only so much I can take in).. But as Stephen A kept kicking at him, he kept quiet. And in this day and age, when everyone absolutely answers in minutes, he didn't say a word. For that, he has my meaningless, but unending respect. 99% of people would find a way to kick back.

Simply put, Max Kellerman was too good for ESPN and they wanted him out. The way they treated him towards the end, specifically Stephen A Smith, showed how fragile their egos were and was indicative of an inferiority complex due to the depth of Kellerman's intelligence. Personally, I miss him and he needs to come back.

Of non-athletes, Max probably has the best combo of knowledge, personality, talent, and street cred in most sports (other than hockey).
ESPN made a mistake thinking those guys were bigger than the brand, they "were" the brand.
