They’re using a proprietary upscaler exclusive to this engine (Decima). Digital Foundry seemed to really like it when they checked it out on PS5 Pro. The first game that got remade is using it too on PS5 Pro.
Awesome video. The game looks amazing on that screen, I'm playing on the LG G3, which is incredible. Just out of interest what where/are your HDR settings?
Thank you! And HDR settings for the game? I’ll need to bring that up on my next video, i can’t remember off the top of my head but they’re mostly default, I believe all I did was turn highlights up to 3 and shadows to 1
innocn how many dimming zones and what is the peak hdr brightness I know the odyssey neo g9 57 can hit at least 1000 nits and I am blown away by it I just wish oled could get as bright I am thinking about picking up the LG 5120x2160 @ 240hz 45'' next year
I'm thinking about buying this console for S95C. On the other hand, I have a 4090 and I could buy an OLED ultrawide monitor. LG 39GS costs the same as the console in my country. What do you recommend? Apart from that, is playing on console as smooth as on PC?
Given that you have a 4090 I would honestly recommend you stick with that. Don’t get me wrong I think the PS5 Pro is great and for console gaming I think it’s the console that finally can take proper advantage of everyone’s 4k screens since PSSR can finally deliver a clear image. The thing is though as a 4090 user myself, I can’t deny that I feel the difference between 60fps on console now vs the framerate I get out of my 4090. Plus DLSS and all those features from NVIDIA are superior to PSSR and what any console can ultimately deliver in terms of image quality and graphics. Take something like Horizon Forbidden West in my latest video. I’m truly impressed with the image clarity the Pro can deliver in “performance” mode, where I really do feel like I’m playing a clear image that isn’t muddied by older upscaling methods and high settings. Here’s the thing though; I also can and have played the same game on PC, totally maxed out thanks to my 4090, and get it at 100fps plus.
RobertSiwitza I mean if you have a 4090 might as well use it while it’s still high end, I don’t like gaming on pc but it feels like it’d be a waste of money otherwise, doesn’t the graphic card alone cost more than the console?
Yeah I haven't liked it so far but I am hoping that they can continue to improve it overtime much like DLSS has made some major strides with each update
Im a sony fanboy need my sony exclusives so console 💯 for me if u play more warzone fortnite apex style games then pc . I cant wait 2-3 years to play a sony exclusive on pc
oldassgamer9138 Depends on you, what games do you often play? How do you like to play them? How much are you willing to spend? I prefer console gaming for convenience and honestly the price of a high end pc isn’t worth it imo, but it might be different for you.

Yeah i made a mistake about PSSR on this video, im really impressed by what they’re accomplishing on this console
They are not using PSSR in this title. look it up
Yeah I am mistaken, they did an incredible job here
Check out the Remastered version of Zero Dawn with Pro Enhancements. All the PS5 Remasters really shine on the Pro.
Yeah I’m playing it on PC right now, seeing forbidden west on the pro though I can imagine how good they did with that too
It looks stunning!!
Absolutely!
Crazy good for a (currently)$430 monitor
Absolutely!

Do enjoy this or your Ultrawide monitor better?
Ultrawide overall, this is a fantastic monitor overall but I do enjoy Ultrawide more
ps5 pro is still going to use some fsr features like frame generation
That’ll be cool to see
@udubultra black myth wukong and immortals of avium used frame gen
Fsr isn't great tho tbh it creates messy artifacts
Yeah I haven't liked it so far but I am hoping that they can continue to improve it overtime much like DLSS has made some major strides with each update
This title doesn't use pssr
Yeah I’m mistaken, they’re using their own anti aliasing technique
I was thinking about getting the pro , I’m not sure whether to get it or a pc.
Im a sony fanboy need my sony exclusives so console 💯 for me if u play more warzone fortnite apex style games then pc . I cant wait 2-3 years to play a sony exclusive on pc
I'm waiting for 5090 ouu yeah :D

HDR LOOKS better on miniled than oled
Yeah Bcs extra nits
OLED has infinite contrast and perfect blacks 😊
Você grava com que celular?
iPhone 15
@ qual as configurações de câmera que você usa?
I use the Blackmagic camera app because I can really dial in settings to my liking through that. I change them based on the game
the colors a way too strong ....... i hope it's the camera and not the actually miniled monitor
