I am afraid I had neither the time or the material to do this justice but wanted to record my thanks to Duncan and the Flying Club and uploaded this early this morning (having returned two of my grandchildren who had been staying with us this week)
Thanks Tim great full that you take us to these shows and a tour of the arrivals....that food should have had a government health warning looked so so good
Another great video Tim! Seething is one of my favourite places to fly to, but unfortunately I was working the weekend of the fly-in. But don’t spread it around too much… Seething is the best kept secret!😀
Ahh! Memories. John Wibberly gave me a flight in this plane many moons ago and gave me some parts for the Subaru in my D18 that I was building. Great to see G-Wibb in the air. Regards, Jim the Brit in NI UK
Nice episode of The Jodel Passenger 😉 The buffet reminded me of your trips to St Omer. I noticed the red & white G-FLYP, parked outside, which I think used to have the logo of Flypast Magazine. The Seething runway looks in good condition and those turntable hangers are always fun to see.
A little different but I think I am a reasonably calm P2. It was a shame that the camera did not record the sound but when I plugged in my intercom did not work!
May I ask a personal question Tim? How tall are you? (Or Duncan if he's taller!) Seriously considering building a D18 but just wondering how limiting it might be for my passenger and I. (I'm 5'11")

Lovely little aircraft Tim and expertly flown too by Duncan - great stuff ....
He and the aircraft did well in blustery conditions Mike.
We're grounded atm so great to see the new content from you Tim. Thanks.
Had to cobble this one together but I wanted to make the upload. You are welcome to come and fly with me if you would like to?

It was a shame I could not record our conversation and the radio exchanges.
Looked very snug, good job you know Duncan well.
Good to see you out & about and looking forward to watching your summer adventures.
The D18 is rather snug and putting my arm on the back shelf does give Duncan some more room, especially as it was a very ‘choppy’ day.
An enjoyable video all the same Tim, thank you. Bet you had a great day 👍
Thank you Kev. It was windy but a good day nonetheless less.
Great video yet again! That looked a bumpy and windy day! 10/10 for commitment!
It was a bumpy flight Nick but the D18 coped well

Thank you. The control tower museum was also open but we didn’t visit it this time.
A very enjoyable video Tim. Looks like it was well worth the visit.
Thank you. Seething is always a good visit.
Great video. That’s a great little jodel. Thanks for sharing
Thank you Tim. It is a nice little machine and coped well in the wind

Enjoyed that, rushed or not, a pleasure to watch.
Thank you Neil

Shame that the B206 was not airborne
The runway is in good condition and very long but tail wheels and tarmac don’t always make it easy.
Thanks Tim always good to see you out and about. Chris in Devon.
Thanks Chris
I had my first ever Cessna flight as a child from Seething worthiness in the Air Scouts. It's on my list to go back.
There is always a good welcome there. It turned out that we could have used a small grass strip alongside the runway (on the eastern side)
It must be strange being in the P2 seat again! 😊

@@JodelFlyer I feel your pain! These recording devices are frustratingly unreliable 🤦🏻♂️🤷🏻♂️
Hello, I often fly as a passenger in a Jodel D18, not exactly the same because it's a ultra light plane with a Rotax engine. Perfect for mountains.
It is a very nice aircraft, smaller than my 1050 but very economical with excellent performance.
@@JodelFlyer Before the D18 my friend (pilot) had a 1050 Ambassadeur ;)
The flight was a flight the video was a video no worries keep getting better every time crack on
Thanks Barry

@@nickbarsby3378 I am 5’ 9” and Duncan is a little taller. Chris is a bit taller than Duncan but can only fly solo as he weighs quite a lot.
@@JodelFlyer The diet starts tomorrow.
My little Kub would not have made it to the runway with 26kts+ gusts, that is why I didn't go in the end 😞
I did wonder if you would be there but lots of people did not turn up.
@@JodelFlyer The wind was way out of limits for me. I really wanted to go but ha ho. They do have a grass runway which is smooth.
