With her lack of protection, it’s fortunate this didn’t turn in to a Dawn of the Dead movie!
Nice one
😂😂😂😂😂
Yeah weird, Dawn was the one who got me to tether and get good mirrors
Dawn is a speed maniac.
She maxed out the V13 as soon as it hit U.S. shores, she dipped the S16.....that motorcycle background did wonders for her speed game.
My goodness that little woman is bad-ass! Hop on and flying without gear and doing a dip, I panicked for her.
More like dumb ass ... Overpowering the wheel without helmet and protection on public road - Idiocracy as it is. Maybe she is still drunk from celebrating new year - I don't know.
You guys are the best. What a lovely vibe you have and great way to kick off 2024!😀
Awesome 😎 thanks Marty n Dawn n Roger Dodger!!🙏
The dip without a helmet and gloves would have hurt badly. S16 is a party wheel
There's a lot to like about smaller, lighter wheels that aren't ridiculously small. They're great for short commutes and low-speed skill practice. And please, Dawn, gear before hitting beeps.
I enjoyed riding it’s definitely a fun little wheel. I like that it has RBG Lights and speakers. It’s like a little party wheel and once you get some pads on it you can jump it easily. Thanks for letting me play with the wheel 😊
What is your height please Chris? I'm trying to get an idea of the size of this wheel. Any older wheel you would compare its size to? 16X maybe? Thanks.
In case Chris doesn't respond I would guess that he's 6'1"
@@V-uj8hu Marty is correct, I’m 6’1 ……I own a begode acm and the S16 feels very similar just with suspension. The S16 is not as tall as the A2 and is a little thicker than the A2 as well. Hopefully this helps you out
@@ElectricUnicycles correct 👍🏼
@@ElectricUnicycles Thanks Marty, spot on with your guess 😀
Fun group of friends whose wisdom is greatly appreciated. To live close to you and share the occasional ride would be such a treat. 6 pac Gord
Your video starts with Mozart's requiem (mass for the dead). It came close to be appropriate for Dawn, not having any protection at all.
I just played this video at 1.25x speed so I could pretend I was watching an S16 Pro impressions video!
My only cutout in 4 yrs of riding was on the 16x around 30 mph. I recall only 1 short beep then cutout with no chance of recovery. I stayed below 28 there after.
I'm so jealous of your weather 😭 lol
Happy new year to you and Dawn
Disliked the older guy saying this is like a beginner wheel and acted like it was not anything!.. i would love to have this wheel and especially what the prices EUC´s are up in! this one is still expensive even in the cheap range and it has suspension... I am still saving up to get my first wheel at age 44... don´t know what sort of money people in these videos make! they always have like 4-8 EUC´s in their garage and all in the high end price range!!!
The EUC hobby is expensive (that's why you don't see a lot of young people riding wheels). Go buy an electric mountain bike and you'll see that EUC's are cheap :-)
Love mine. Need someone to make grippier pedals for it.
Damn! What is really wrong with Kingsong, lol they did you and Jason dirty! Why lie😅😅
Cool! I look forward to getting this new one! 🙂 (Btw: total usage of its kickstand in this video = zero, haha) 😅😅👍🏼👍🏼
The 16x used to get 70km real world range, with a similar amount of wh. It would be nice to know if this gets similar range or if the more powerfull motor eats through the battery quicker
On my initial ride I got 27-miles (43-km) and had ~35% battery and was riding between 20 and 25 mph (32 - 42 kph)
The real world changed. People ride faster now.
I was concerned this wheel wouldn't be fast enough. After seeing the first few passes, it's fast enough.. lol.
WTF !!!! 😰 IS SHE A 😲SUPER HERO ???? 🫨 GREAT SAVE !!!
What range do you reckon we could expect from this wheel? Using the S18 for reference I imagine 40 miles is a generous estimate.
You could probably get 40-miles if you rode SLOW. On a recent ride I had 35% battery after 27-miles, riding in the low to mid 20's.
@@ElectricUnicycles Hmmm, well I am not a fast rider anyway. I did see another reviewer get 43 miles on his ride, but I’m not sure how fast he was going. Would you say a T4 pro would be better? They now have metal batteries and improved motor/bearings fixing some of the early T4 problems.
If king song EUC battery is 50e it means regular and 50S battery on it will become pro, even they’re the same motor etc. specifications just a battery difference’s? One thing is you need to push it into the limit just to know if it’s a S16pro or regular S16? they are not honest and not safe to spend money of thousands dollars.
Enjoy the flow+keep safe…
And
Thank you so much for the review.
When are we going to get more V14 videos
When they send me a new one
How does this wheel feel compared to the commander mini? Does it feel more nimble because of the lighter weight or is it similar while riding? I get my commander mini on Monday
Feels much more nimble than the Commander Mini which isn't surprising considering that the battery is much smaller (lighter).
✌️ she is keeping it wheel 👍🤦
Oh my goodn
I like this, we need aesthetics, good built quality, LED lights, real world usage. Riders must respect the limits on the less powerful wheels.
it's awesome!
They might have upgraded components but not upgraded the FW to match it - sounds like it doesn't have the recovery latency that other wheels seem to display, at the least, even if it's capped in FW at 50kph.
No, KingSong has confirmed that it's not a Pro
Will it be possible to put off road or winter tyre on it? I mean without using mototyre with sealant
Absolutely
Nice
How does it compare with the V11 in your opinion? I cannot make my decision. 🤪
The V11 feels (and is) bigger and has a much more comfy ride
lol, that kill switch is going to get someone hurt. maybe KS could add an audible feedback so the rider knows the kill switch is engaged?
"just do that again"... :P
Just fyi. That like was for Dawn!
At 68 lbs... the non-pro is pretty weak. The V12 HT weighs 64 lbs and has a top speed of ~37 mph. The V12 HS weighs the same... I think... and has a top speed of ~44 mph.
the V12 has also dropped nearly every youtuber who's ridden it with no sign that inmotion is even addressing the issue, it also doesn't have suspension
@@gar_ee8884 Not sure what suspension has to do with top speed. Lack of top speed makes riding on city streets with higher speed limits more risky, making it harder to get around. I'd never suggest anyone ride on sidewalks if it can be avoided. This isn't about whether the unit has software / controller issues, it's about it's power capabilities. That said, I'm at 1100 miles on my V12 HT and haven't had the runaway acceleration problem that some people have run into.
@@naaspam1185 if top speed is your only priority i don't know why you're even considering either of these as viable options
@@gar_ee8884 I'm not just looking for the fastest wheel, I'm looking for a wheel capable of hitting the speeds I need it to hit based on the roads I ride on. My V12 is slightly below where I need it to be, but I ride on 45 mph streets at 35 mph anyways because of the road conditions. Low traffic with wide single lanes in both directions with a turn lane so cars can easily pass. I'd prefer a wheel that can sustain 45 mph so I don't have to let cars pass. The non-pro can only hit like 31-32 mph, so I'd likely only sustain about 28-29 mph and I'd feel unsafe on my route.
@@naaspam1185 Suspension matters because it's heavy. And heavier means less performance (for the same motor/batteries)
It was a huuge dip. Yeah, the bigger one is riding it. Im surprised because this guy normally is well protected. He coiuld have at least loaned her a helmet and wrist guards to prevent her getting a bigger forehead.
If you stress test new wheels that are not that powerful wear protection please, it is very dangerous
👍
You wont get any sympathy from me if you wipe out without gear on,,, or with gear 🤣, we all take our chances on these single wheel contraptions.
Cheers
Again you are wrong, that normal S16 is dangerous for strong accelerations, because it has low quality LG 21700 batteries, when you accelerate the 2800 W motor, those batteries cannot give it all the power that the motorcycle demands at that moment.
But it is very different in the S16 PRO, it has Samsung 50S batteries, they give all the power that the 3,000 W motor that this powerful motor needs, zero possibility of a cutout. Greetings
My S16 has the 50S cells for whatever that's worth
@@ElectricUnicycles KingSong has put its best technology into the S16 PRO, especially the issue of Samsung 50S batteries, those batteries have a minimal possibility of cutout.
Those things are fricken deathtraps. You should be wearing pads and a helmet. The only guy I knew that had something like this ended up almost dead trying to do twisties at 35mph. I am sure it can be a mad rush, dress for the slide not the ride bro's
Well thanks for your opinion, because that's all it is....
Twistiest at 35mph? I’d have to c it to believe it.
@wutruriding1355 beleive what you want. Only reason he is alive is because I saw him doing 40 on the side of the highway with no helmet and reported him to wing safety. They made him wear one on base after that.
@user-ke9yk5qp3u I am alive because I wore all my gear the day I went down. You say it's an opinion, sure I guess it is. Took years not to have a PTSD episode seeing any sort of accident, I guess I would like to see other people live through an accident too.
Dawn, put a helmet on.
Should have thrown at least a helmet on after that first dip.. come on
God she’s sketchy
Just adhd kicking in 😋 I recognize a kollega 💪🏼😎
{tl;dr. Practicing dip recovery at much lower speeds would be helpful for one’s skills.}😊
My executive disfunction would likely lead me into a similarly poor decision. Frustratingly unnecessary yet (often) I’ll fall just short of “all the gear, all the time”.
For riders who are learning, recovery from a dip usually means the pavement flesh-grater is in effect. Dip recovery takes time and intentional practice to reliably recover and it’s always a surprise when it happens. For this reason alone, I’m grateful to have learned on a 300-watt wheel that that could cut out at 8-12 mph if hit with a sudden shift of the breeze. With great power comes greater grater effect; slide responsibility… preferably in leathers.
It would be nice to have an advanced learning feature on these 3000-watt wheels that could allow the rider to practice dip recovery at lower speeds (although recovery under 5mph has its challenges as well. If I could practice this skill monthly at 10pm, I’d be a much safer rider as a result.
Only thing appealing to me about Kingsong is their speakers
Some people are too cool for protective gear.
We like cool people :-)
Seriously again with no helmet, no idea what the wheel is capable, first ride and then riding beep with bonus dip. 😱 ... but wait! there is more, you send her out for another death mission to read the top speed. 😂
1st
Just let me get that straight - she almost overpowered the S16, with huge dip riding it without a helmet or any other type of protection, and she screams "yeah"?! What is going on? What there is to be happy or glad about?
It is dangerous and irresponsible, definitely not the best reason to be smiling from.
That was really close to death or some serious injury.

Diptest without helmet? Not a good example
