The Gabby Douglas collab set looks so beautiful but, honestly, it's just too much effort for me. Lips are the last thing I put on before I run out the door & I'm not about to wait 3 mins between each application to get opacity outta a liquid lippie! "Ain't nobody got time for that!!" LOL 😂 Thanks for the great video, Melissa. Hope your lips are getting some much needed rest & hydration after all that swatching! LOL Those lippies are no joke!

I also don't reach for these on a daily basis (most of the time I just go for a balmy lipstick!) but they are great for special occasions like weddings, night out where I don't want to babysit my lips etc. And yes I'm letting my lips rest now - lots of sugar scrubs and lip masks 😂🤣 thanks for watching lovely 😙😘
:-D I loved that shade too -- just wish it was more pigmented! It's very hard to find a good vampy purple - a lot of the formulas I've tried tend to be streaky!

Haha, yeah my lips suffered but hopefully has helped others make an informed decision! Also Makeup Monsters liquid lipsticks are my favourite too!!! So many gorgeous shades to choose from and yes, very opaque. No need to layer 3 times haha.
Thats kind of disapointing. I wanted to try out this brand really bad but thats a lot of work, dont think its worth it for the cute packaging and name 😅 did you try other products from the brand?
Really confused whether to get Triple Berry Mousse, Syruptitious or Versailles.. looking for a my lips but better shade. I'm asian, fair/med (NC25), warm toned. Grateful for any assistance 😊
Anaissa Sy I'm also about an NC25 and warm toned too and think that out of the three Syruptitious looks the best on me as it's the warmest of the three and more brown based which I think flatters my skin tone the most. Versailles is quite cool tonedand Triple Berry Mousse is a bit pink. I've done a lip swatch of Versailles on my other Beauty Bakerie video (linked in the cards). Have a look and that might help as we probably have similar colouration! 😊Hope that might help!

I hate stay on lipsticks because as soon as you eat anything with the slightest oil it goes awful and then you can't get the rest off. It's a classic marketing ploy that you need more layers or not to smack ypur lips together so you use more lipstick up, they should be pigmented enough to use one layer. I put my lipstick on my lower lip and smack together and done, out the door, not messing around with items that don't work.

Agree! You shouldn't have to keep layering or need special instructions for it to work!
