'Stories in Art' is a series designed to spark an interest in pupils aged 7 to 11 in the great works of art that are accessible in Britain by revealing some of the stories behind them; inspiring children to visit the locations and see the pieces with their own eyes. This clip features the Hans Holbein three-quarter view portrait of King Henry VIII wearing a bell shaped robe. The portrait is displayed at Castle Howard in Yorkshire.

that henry portrait looks a little 2 dimensional to be a Holbein .I assume it may be a copy of an original

There is but (and I'm no history buff so I could be wrong, apologies if I am.) it wasn't done by Hans Holbein, he commissioned a different artist
