    Hi, got an question with the Hydraulic lifters. When you put those in, are they solid hard or did they have some clearance in the lifters?

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  3 года назад

      Hi! If ther are fiilled of oil the will be solid hard. If they are lose some oil, they will have some clearance. Best regards

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  3 года назад

      @@y2quakzzz988 You can install them in any state, charged or not. When you start the engine, the pressurized oil will charge the lifters. Sincerely

    Hello, In the video I could see that you have had cilinder head skimmed. Does Ajusa offer head gaskets with different thicknesses for this engine, or only 1.4mm thickness ??? Than you for reply.

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  4 года назад +1

      Hi! For this motor, we do not offer different gasket thickness. Despite this, we can slightly rectify the cylinder head according to the workshop manual. Attentively

    Сальники распредвалов установлены не верно, их не нужно заганять до упора, а нужно чтобы были заподлицо с головкой. Иначе они перекроют масляные каналы.

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  6 лет назад +1

      Сальник установлен правильно. Сливы слива масла не покрываются, как вы можете видеть на следующем изображении URL. поздравления
      The oil seals are installed correctly. The oil drain holes are not blocked, as we can see in the following image.

    Why didn't you install the camshafts when the pistons were TDC? And how do you know what position to lay the camshaft in?

    • @uranusneptun5239
      @uranusneptun5239 3 месяца назад +1

      I'm myself a rookie so take this information with a grain of salt. But I think just to make sure he gets the head back on without any issue and probably it's the way Peugeot says it's supposed to be done. I think he lays the cams in, in a way that the valves are closed, but not sure... But with this video you could just follow every step as after he layed them in with the head back on and everything he just turns the crank into TDC to time it.

    • @AjusaAutomotive
      @AjusaAutomotive  3 месяца назад

      Hi! Thanks for your comment, that's right. The pistons are positioned in such a way that the valves remain closed and thus avoid interference. Kind regards

    There is no way that intake manifold was torqued down before fitting the cam boxes. If the intake manifold is fully bolted down there is no way to get the inlet cambox in underneath the manifold.

      It doesn't matter you can leave the intake manifold off until the head is back on. The stuts onto which it is bolted on are removable.
