I believe the Almighty is beyond our comprehension and may stay beyond our comprehension, even after we leave here. But it is a beautiful presence to be in.
Yes this almighty or what ever you want to call it is beyond the concept of the human mind. The mind will not conceive it because it is beyond It's conception. By actual experience will helps us to connect with it better. When we know the truth there is no need to believe it.
All our minds are similar in chemical and electrical composition. When you die that electrochemical activity doesn't just stop instantly. When you are brought back, that activity whilst your body was dead is still there. Why wouldn't the experiences be similar. It is well proven that time is REM sleep and the perceived time in dreams does not correlate. Even if you are dead for just a few seconds, the perceived passage of time could be much longer. I'm glad this experience makes you happy, but in no way does it prove the existence of a God or an afterlife.

Darwin noted that, on each island, the same species of finch was noted but, the finches had differences in beak formation on each island. This was NOT due to "variation in weather patterns". It was due to the TYPE of nut that was present on each island. Some finches had cross bills, some shorter, some longer, again, depending on whichever island the bird inhabited. Thus, the finches, after many, many years, adapted to their environment.

Those who say there is a God have the burden of proof. Give tangible proof that there is a supernatural being or beings who made the universe as we know it and controls events today. There is no such proof, physically or intellectually. "God" is a human conjecture, nearly universal, invented to explain reality and events as we perceive them with our senses. Aquinas' proofs have failed to withstand close scrutiny over the years and modern explanations by people such as William Lane Craig have fared no better. It all boils down to a matter of faith. As the writer of Hebrews asserts "Faith is the assurance of things HOPED for, the evidence of things NOT seen" Heb. 11:1.

If you listen to the famous BBC debate between Bertrand Russel and Frederick Copleston you'll find the argument in a more basic/ fundamental version. (Leibniz's Cosmological argument of Contingency.) Copleston demonstrates that there is a hard limit to explaining the universe (or anything beyond) by the method of causal logic. This is where Copleston points to the necessary existence of a being that transcends the logic of causation. And he says this is what we can call God. You can argue about semantics, but it all shows that there are limits to the way we are used think about the world and existence...
But why isn't the conclusion that the logic is faulty, or that it doesn't always apply? And why is it a 'being' that transcends the rules? And even if it were, how would you determine anything beyond that they were able to able to transcend them in some way at some point?
@@CarlosSamuel-ms9ee There's a funny thesis of a scientist that goes by the funny name "J. Richard Gott III" ("Gott" being the German word for "God".)... In the paper *Can the Universe create itself?* (Phys. Rev. D 58, 023501 - Published 29 May 1998) Gott and his colleague Li-Xin Li argue that (in a weird way) it would be physically possible (or at least conceivable) that the universe could "be its own mother". Gott talks about concepts like "closed timelike curves" (CTCs) | _(i.e. an explanation to existence by retrocausality)._ The most interesting theology that I've heard of (so far) is that of the Jesuit priest and paleontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin. He pointed out that maybe we are witnessing a culmination of consciousness or intelligence across the entirety of existence that somehow actually transcends our perception of time and the logic of causality that we're clinging to. All (conscious) existence culminates in a so-called "Omega Point" that turns out to be the very source and origin of all (conscious) existence. I don't know about "God", but I find it very inspiring and interesting to listen, to read and to think about what people mean when they talk about "God" or "gods" or their relationship to what we could refer to as "divine". If we apply systemic thinking, it becomes obvious that what we think of our thinking, awareness, intelligence or consciousness can be observed in wider or narrower context levels. In esotericism there is the concept of an "Egregore". A (sort of) mind that runs on multiple minds or a group consciousness... From a more pragmatic point of view, you can easily argue that organizations (congregations, companies, countries, etc.) have a mind of their own... I even think it's deeper... I suspect that various levels of intelligence and awareness or consciousness permeate all sorts of (physical) systems... All sorts of patterns in reality can be understood as symptoms of consciousness. And maybe it's really like the schools of Hindu thought say: All is Brahman. There is one unbounded continuous source of consciousness that is expanding and contracting in cyclic motions (the so-called "Brahma year")... And this one actual (divine) World Soul is Itself constantly being refracted (virtually broken up) or reflected in all the individual (temporally and spatially limited) points of view that we _are._ Or we could avoid thinking or talking or writing about "God" (the divine and our spiritual connection to *it* ...) and instead we could argue that the existence of _nothing_ is inconceivable (a contradiction in terms actually) and _that's why_ *Everything* (conceivable) _exists._ And that (again) doesn't exclude the existence of (quasi-divine) conscious entities in a far wider and deeper context of existence or even a (necessary) being that is indeed a representation of the culmination of all conscious existence that transcends our concept of time and causality and can in a very true sense be referred to as "God"/ "Source"/ or "Creator".

13:53 This is the biggest misconseption regarding athiests. What he said was wrong. Atheists DON'T believe that the universe was created from NOTHING. We simply say that we DON'T KNOW yet. There were similar issues in the past. Ppl said that beyond the sky there was either heven or nothing. As we learned later, there is an entire univers there. The similar thing is with the bing bang. We simply don't know yet and invoking a god there is an good old "god of the gaps".
"We simply don't know yet" - how can we EVER know since science applies only inside the BigBang, where we have data to form it? How can we extract data from outside our universe?
The big bang theory does not start at "nothing." It starts at a single, extremely hot, and dense spot called the singularity. There is no theory of creatio ex nihilo, neither are the biblical creation myths portraits of something out of nothing.

feel free to prove in any way e.g. by having this invisible being placing just 1 comment here in this thread ? Precisely this is where the answers start to become vague "no he does not want to interfere" or "has complex weird reasons to only talk to specific (...) people in their brains" or "he is invisible and only want to show up at a given time in the future" When then going back to the history of this: this was never originally devised as a theory that some personal invisible magical being would talk 1:1 to a set of humans in their brains. So where did this come from anyway ? The answer is probably culture and the way it leads people to think about reality in a certain specific geographic placement in a specific timeframe. In the US probably with some historic background and the need to feel special. And precisely this is why Aristoteles came up with another way of describing reality versus the people back then who attempted to describe reality as in "i heard it from bob", "i think that" For yourself: take a deck of cards and let the voice in your brain predict if the colors will be red or black then check if it is close to random. As regards the "absence" of matter at the "beginning", it looks like not many people around here are aware of quantum field theory and what matter is, or how it emerges in such context. It would be good trying to think outside classical physics before making bold claims. Furthermore, the big bang is not incompatible with things existing before.
This is equivalent to saying “it’s elephants all the way down.” There is no evidence of anything before the Big Bang except math, which, unlike physics, is not a construct. Math is both abstract and conceptual, arguably requiring a mind to hold it. It is the DNA of the universe. It’s nonsense to believe the universe wasn’t created. By nonsense, I means you have to start with the assumption there was no creator to get to that conclusion, which is ridiculous.
Quantum theory requires time and space to exist. Time for a quantum event to occur and space for it to occur in. If the quantum event is occurring outside the very edge of a black hole, then the quantum particles will self destruct. If this was not true the laws of thermodynamics would be violated.
One thing that hit me in college where I struggled with God's existence or not, was after doing it for two years, I realized that the answer needed no answer from me. The existence or non-existence of God does not depend on what men think. Mankind can argue till the cows come on, but the existence or not of God cannot logically depend on what men think. Unless you think God is no more than what the majority of men think. I just came to have faith in whatever existed. And hope it would accept me to a Heaven where I met family and friends who have gone before me. I'm elderly now. And if there is no God, then again it doesn't matter what men think on the subject. We argue and argue over this and just me, it's all a waste of time. What we think and understand does not determine a reality beyond this material world. Now Jesus said, "My Kingdom is not of this world, but the next." One interpretation of that is Jesus is not to be found by science or emotion in this material world. But is also suggest Jesus can be found in the next world, known after we die. But the existence or not, of Jesus or any other God, is not determined by the popular vote of mankind. Again we can think about the existence or not of a God. But if you are objective and logical you realize, mankind isn't the factor that determines the existence or not of God of the next world. All this constant arguing suggest those arguing think the existence or not of a God depends on what mankind thinks. If it does, then logically God is mankind, or their is no God in the case where you think mankind can figure out such a difficult question. Are we humans as smart as a God? That I cannot believe.
What I've come to realise is GOD is the GOD of the IMPOSSIBLE. HE defies any attempt to limit HIM. We have no reached the sophistication of development and intellect to understand even what Pierce has grasped, HIS Realm is beyond space and time, HIS power and knowledge beyond our present abilities to comprehend or imagine. Trying to explain HIM is nothing but Vanity...😊❤
I have concluded that our job is not to 'prove' God, His saving Grace, or the Triune God- but to tell of Jesus's sacrifice to reconcile us the God. It is so others can make their choice
Life is built around a choice, “do you trust God or not?” Sole people choose to believe in Him, others choose to hold off on that belief until evidence is presented. A request that is impossible to satisfy because God’s evidence isnt the kind that they want. He is spiritual, you cannot prove this through material means. What we do have is a mind, and again, we can choose to believe that out insanely complex mind came to be out of pure chance, or you can choose to believe there must be something beyond the material. In the end its a choice. A choice made with out immaterial conciousness. Let that sink in I guess, or not, the choice is ours. Hiwever, once we open up to the possibility of something beyond the material, the Gospels start to make a lot of sense. The structure of our world is built to interact with our minds and morals perfectly. When we stray, there are consecuences. It all appears interconnected and inevitable inevitable at that point. Too many atheists try to take on the gospels without first entering in that state of mind. And because of this, they do not understand. Because they musy choose, but they have already made their choice. Life is a decision, they will never get the proof they seek and will die in ignorance if they choose to remain there. Thats not to say there isnt a truth. Teuth is there wether we see it or not, but if we chose to not see past our perceptions, then we lose a lot of depth. There is a lot of wisdom in the teachings of the bible, and you can see how God being never hanging, still maneuvers and is flexible for our sake. Because of love. Many people miss that and start calling out discrepancies, but again, that is like trying to talk calculus before learning to add and subtract. There is an order to these things, but they must first… choose
@@sandgrownun66 Your belief or not has nothing to do with me. Your choice, you will die or live with that choice. I do feel sorry for you - I have long time friends who just can't see because there is the same veil over their eyes and it breaks my heart

I worked for years doing fairly precise machining +.00007/- 0! Guys in our shop were working to helium light bands of flatness! There are processes that are working at a molecular level such as TSMC and other foundries!!! Having read that theoretically the big bang originated from some place smaller than a cubic micron (.000039 on a side) I can assure you that a cubic micron is a very small place. To get all of the discernible mass in the known universe from a place smaller than a cube that is .000039 on a side is going to be a noisy supernatural event!!! So I'm comfortable the both the "big" and and the "bang" part!!
I don't believe in god, but also do not believe the entire mass of the universe was contained in a .000039 in cube. I don't have answers (and don't need them), but I don't by either of these.
Firstly, there was no mass then. Mass didn't arise till much later. Secondly while that micron sounds small you've got to remember that space time is expanding. Back then space was smaller but there was just as much of it
Show me an explosion which will produce such exact results as you dealt with. Those results take a mind and very specific control. To believe that even more critical differentiation of elements could result from an accidental explosion demands too much of credulity.
😂 same way people find imaginary friends. It is pretty easy to find god or any imaginary being. By the way athiests are not disproving god, they are refuting the lame excuses people give as evidence for god. No sensible evidence so far
I've said since I was a ten year old boy that Darwin's theory fits perfectly into the God creation Hypothesis. The Big Bang is so much "Creation" that it's virtually impossible to dispute.
The problem with that is that big bang says that it all happened at random. Same with evolution. And order cannot come from chaos at random, it’s an impossibility, time is irrelevant, even trillions of trillions of years will not change anything, but confuse the naive and gullible.
Science in an evolving process is nothing written in stone. maybe " Law of Energy states energy can neither be created or destroyed" when we understand what energy is and there will be a new definition.
@@radam2818 Yes bro, u get it. People uses double standard and they even doesn't realize it. The God of the gap, if they haven't an explanation, therefore God, without realizing that the same argument still applies also with God himself.
Could he? I'm not so sure he could, given that people have a free will. Richard Dawkins once said in an interview that if he saw God appear before his own eyes, he would dismiss it as a hallucination. As would many atheists. Rock solid proof doesn't force people to accept it. Flat Earthers come to mind as one example of people who deny the truth that is right in front of them. I've heard some people say, "He could force us to believe," but that would be against his nature. God wants a relationship with us, which by definition cannot be forced. So, I'd be interested to hear how God could "settle the issue so easily...."
He could but won't. If you've read the Bible you're very clearly told that if you seek then you shall find. It requires you to seek and take a step in faith to find him, very difficult for some people. Now, God DOES reveal himself through acts in the Revelation of John, but its to the chagrin of those present on the Earth as they would be completely annihilated if the events continued to transpire. Those present will be so against God that they will gather the world's armies to do battle against his Son at Armageddon, and again 1,000 years later after living under his rule. Proof that even when God reveals himself, man is to stupid and proud to accept Him for who He is.

Bro, the classic double standard of believers, dishonest mind, no actual critical thinking and cherrypicking. And the final touch, the God of the gap, what they don't understand or what science cannot (still) explain is automatically ''therefore God''.
I guess there will always be dummies like you who think that belief in no God is not belief, or those that use the silly god of the gaps argument but then go on and use the evolution of the gaps or the multiverse of the gaps and even call it science because a bunch of popular atheists said so on Discovery channel

So how does the quran claiming that the heavens and the earth were once united mean it’s talking about the big bang? And nothing was separated in the Big Bang, it just expanded. And search up water creation myth, it was an ancient pagan myth that was adopted by Muhammad
The difference between atheist and thrust(to me) is a atheist can easily say,we don't yet have adequate information to answer some of life's questions. A theist, cannot accept the unknown, they have to throw in some god to pretend explain it all
That’s why when dealing with people that don’t believe, instead of using the word God, I use the world creator. They can’t deny that there must be a creator because things, everything or whatever don’t create by itself. Then when they accept a creator, now I can push that it is God.
I doubt that strategy is going to work. There are possible scenarios that don't involve a creator, so you can't 'force' people to accept a creator scenario which is just one of several possibilities.
"They can’t deny that there must be a creator" Well yes I can quite easily because physics explains it, and YOU cannot show the "Creator" exists or how he did it. You just say it's magic. Only a moron would fall for your approach, which if they convert to Christianity proves it.

Well done, I'm currently reading this book too (I Don't Have Enough Faith to be an Atheist) & you explained it so well. I'm glad to see a young person speaking knowledge from God to all of us. Keep up the great work!
You dont need faith to be an atheist!! Honestly whoever thonks you do is a mental lunatic. Faith is relevant to religion or religions who believe in one or more gods.. me, as an atheist, believe in myself and doing as well as i can in life before passing life onto the next generation. i wasnt worried about it before i was born, why should i worry now. I die, i cease to exist, pretty simple really..
Atheists don’t have faith. They don’t accept the claim “there is a god” because of the lack of evidence
Religious people need faith to believe because they don’t have evidence. If they did they’d just present the evidence

@@CarlosSamuel-ms9ee
There's a funny thesis of a scientist that goes by the funny name "J.
Gott talks about concepts like "closed timelike curves" (CTCs) | _(i.e. an explanation to existence by retrocausality)._
The most interesting theology that I've heard of (so far) is that of the Jesuit priest and paleontologist Pierre Teilhard de Chardin.
And this one actual (divine) World Soul is Itself constantly being refracted (virtually broken up) or reflected in all the individual (temporally and spatially limited) points of view that we _are._
Or we could avoid thinking or talking or writing about "God" (the divine and our spiritual connection to *it* ...) and instead we could argue that the existence of _nothing_ is inconceivable (a contradiction in terms actually) and _that's why_ *Everything* (conceivable) _exists._
And that (again) doesn't exclude the existence of (quasi-divine) conscious entities in a far wider and deeper context of existence or even a (necessary) being that is indeed a representation of the culmination of all conscious existence that transcends our concept of time and causality and can in a very true sense be referred to as "God"/ "Source"/ or "Creator".

feel free to prove in any way e.g. by having this invisible being placing just 1 comment here in this thread ? (must be simple to change some bits in some electrons if you are able to create a universe).
Precisely this is where the answers start to become vague "no he does not want to interfere" or "has complex weird reasons to only talk to specific (...) people in their brains" or "he is invisible and only want to show up at a given time in the future"
When then going back to the history of this: this was never originally devised as a theory that some personal invisible magical being would talk 1:1 to a set of humans in their brains. So where did this come from anyway ? The answer is probably culture and the way it leads people to think about reality in a certain specific geographic placement in a specific timeframe. In the US probably with some historic background and the need to feel special.
And precisely this is why Aristoteles came up with another way of describing reality versus the people back then who attempted to describe reality as in "i heard it from bob", "i think that"
For yourself: take a deck of cards and let the voice in your brain predict if the colors will be red or black then check if it is close to random. Place on RUclips if otherwise.
For some reason it seems to "block" in peoples minds what the answers are to these simple proposals. "no he only creates universes and talks in my brain but as soon as i myself test it by any means it will not work"

Well perhaps they could. They think absence of belief is an actual thing.
"Furthermore, the big bang is not incompatible with things existing before." Exactly!
Thanx bro for pointing it, many ppl are not aware of this because ignorant or incapable of critical HONEST thinking or... both!!!

So much effort to find God, when He could settle the issue so easily ...

Jesus Christ died about 500 years before Muhammad and Muhammad book wasn’t written until about 200 years after him. Of course time doesn't exist as we know it in a dream, what are you on?
@@maozedong8370 This is an ignorant reply
Dreams require brain activity, and in a dream time is still generally linear, you’re just unaware of how much time has passed, as you’re unconscious, same as anaesthetic
This idea you put forward of “in sync clocks” is just nonsense, not even in linear time do all mechanical and biological clocks synchronise because of relativity
NDEs generally occur when the brain is non functional, and the closest analogue or comparison statistically is DMT, but of course on DMT the brain is MORE active as opposed to not active
So at death, you seem to become MORE aware, and experience seems to become MORE real and there’s this additional component of time, of which is circular, it’s not linear, no moment follows from another, it all can occur instantaneously
What exactly is occurring, the living will probably never know, we only have limited data and people relating their experiences
I encourage you to study the subject if you haven’t already, especially if you’re going to draw conclusions
