The Nuggets lacked a 6th man like Bruce Brown. He really made a difference last season in crucial moments. No bench, no party.
Great comeback by Wolves. Joker could only rest for about a minute. In closing moments, having Naz Reid, the Sixth man of the year, was a big deal in this game. As another big man, he can handle tiring Jokic and could also shoot. Denver have no options from bench to counter this big men game when it mattered.

This was one of Ant's worst games as well, lotta the supporting cast showed up when it mattered.
That's where this team shines; if a player underperform, all his teammates step up.
Valuable lessons that I hope the Nuggets organization learn:
1) the best player on the planet can’t sleep-walk through half a series. He dropped the ball and deserves the lion’s share of criticism.
2) Don’t “who’s your daddy” LA only to then get f-ing owned by a 22yr old the next series. Denver lost 3/4 of its home games in this series and were blown out in Game 6 by 45 points. F-ing embarrassing.
3) Denver had no bench. Their front office completely dropped the ball not replacing the key pieces they lost.

This Game 7 was shocking. JOKIC AND MURRAY was the best players on the floor by a HUGE margin. Denver had a 20 point lead. And Denver still LOST.. ?? No one else on the Nuggets even scored in double digits. It felt like watching LAKERS vs Denver again, but vice versa. Anthony Edwards was HORRENDOUS in an elimination game. Man shot 6/24 and almost shot his team out of the game. He got carried by the entire Wolves team.
But Denver truly shocked me. They lost this game just like Lakers lost all 4 games against Denver. Fumbled a massive lead
Well, minus going off in the 3rd quarter to help bring the Wolves back from a 20 pt deficit, yeah was certainly not Antman’s best performance.

It's psychological. Giving up a huge lead in 3rd makes the team clawing back very confident and they keep coming. So, anything can happen in the 4th at that point.

Although many players for Denver were missing in game 1, 2, 6 and 7. The coach needs to take a big look at himself because he was outcoached fair and square. When your team is up 20 points in game 7 and you can clearly see many players other than Jokic and Murray not playing well, you need to come up with a different game plan - certainly allowing them to throw and miss 3 pointer after 3 pointer you should be giving them a roasting. The Denver fans and players expected more from this coach and he DID NOT DELIVER.
The show really must be coming to its end: Chuck got a guarantee right.
Sage advice from Chuck that if have a big lead and then give it up, anything can happen. Mind blown.

You can't blame Jovic. He scored 35 points with 19 rebounds. This was left on the shoulders of 2 players, with little help from the rest of the starters and the bench. This was a coaching problem.

Watching the 1st quarter highlights, I was certain the Wolves were game 7 nervous.
What I noticed is that the key to defending Joker is to play him physically and use his less than stellar athletic ability against him. Dwight howard had the template a couple of years ago, however i saw that a couple times tonight when they were able to double team him later in thr game. Now, was he tired? Maybe...but they exploited him being tired as well. Wpuld have liked to see them against the celts, but minnesota vs boston will also be a good series

Despite everything Jokic still deserves that mvp. Anthony Edward’s played pretty bad most of that game. His team saved him. All the greats have had an off run in the playoffs. MJ has been swept twice, Kobe twice, Shaq six times, Kareem 3 times, LeBron twice. So yeah, Jokić had an amazing season and lost in game 7. The man’s not perfect.

The game, as well as the whole series, was a 50/50, without safe ones. Wolves from -20 to +10, CONGRATS! First conference finals after 20 years. Extremely ELITE defences are the main thing about this series.
As soon as Gobert hit the cleanest shot of his career, in the middle of 4/4 from the fadeaway, out of desperation, I knew it was over :( Reed again gave a mountain of key points.
There is nothing to complain about Jokic, OF COURSE! The man played the whole match with 1 minute of rest, gave 90% of his team's points in 2/2, collected 19 rebounds. Ok, a lot of misses for 3p, but most of them are shots of desperation because the rest doesn't work, nobody can make a basket.
All the best to Murray, a lion's fight through injuries the whole series. Porter + Gordon 11p, if you are must looking for blame somewhere, then it is there.
The whole POff Nuggs are somehow out of their right rhythm, like on one leg... They were again within a bit of the Conference Finals. Jokic justified his role as the best player in the league, some new young stars are coming to annoy him and push him out of his comfort zone :)
The nonexistence of moves in Denver's trade deadlines turns out to be the key to the total and absolute exhaustion of Denver's starters in such a physical series. Apart from Holiday at times and the excellent Braun, in his role, the reserve help is almost non-existent. On the other side, Reid played as a starter + Walker, etc... Insurmountable, it turns out.
However, we are left without a "collision" between Jokic and Luka, the balkan brothers...
