It’s so crazy to hear them say nail techs cheapen the brand or even some diy people cause nail techs buy a shit ton of their crystals and some diy people do as well so it’s so ignorant of them to say that they cheapen the brand freaking people are crazy the mane owner was saying that and his siblings were arguing with him about it it was crazy but it’s okay they still have some beautiful crystals out here and they may end up jacking the price up once Swarovski stops being sold to the public hopefully not though cause to me it’s just right on the line being affordable especially online you can get them for good prices fr fr
Eeh, I hope they see enough of a loss in revenue that they re-think it. I sure nail artists & crafters are a huge chunk of their money. I thought money was more important to businesses? Why turn down money... Not like you can ask for more from others to make up for it. I have a feeling when that really kicks in & they see the $$ loss, they might rethink that. Especially with businesses losing money cuz of covid. They forgot other businesses are suffering. What if less of these places they WILL sell to are gonna be doing less business. Money talks... & the rich always wanna be richer. Bah... Swarovski is still cut glass like the rest of em... It's not crystal or diamond or even cubic zirconia. I didn't want to give them my $$ just because of that. I used they were crystal & was disappointed to know it's just glass. Yeah they have a patent on that style of cut facets & have good clarity but... at least for me it's not that big of a difference (the few extra cuts) for that much more money cuz it's still cut glass... Like my drinking glass here. I get some nice glass stones with great clarity overseas. Glass is just glass to me. They're just stuck up glass dealers as far as I'm concerned. I've bought cubic zirconia that are cheap (but more than swarovski) & have far more defining cuts making amazing sparkle quality & it's an actual stone not glass. They just don't come in ab & not silver backed. Either way... I strongly believe they'll change once the bad numbers roll in.
I prefer glue cause the crystals lay flatter and look like they are floating on the nail it just looks cleaner to me the gel can bulk up the nail plus glue its quicker and they last just as long. As far as what u said about the crystals falling of the silver backing it happened to me all the time with Swarovski crystals. I asked Tabitha nails here on RUclips and she said its because the adhesion is really good but you have to go around that crystal with gel or top coat to secure the crystal better and to prevent that from happening

If they don’t want to pay your prices and think they are to high or that your charging to much for the bling or something then go somewhere else cause u getting quality beautiful nails snd it takes time and money for nail techs to do what they do u can go to these nail salons by my house and your nails start falling off the next day cause they did a whole set in 35 min snd don’t care if they stay on or not and charge you 20 to 45 dollars a set they can always go there but the issue is you pay for what you get and that’s with everything clothes shoes nails hair whatever the case may be even food ….. so really there’s no need to fuss about price or anything

Who in the heck are Swarovski's business advisors? It does not sound like a very good business move, especially in this day and time. Nail techs and DIY'ers have only helped the brand and boosted profitability. When they start to feel the loss in profit they will change.
Girlfriend... Don't be intimidated by gel! Make it your bitch! Once you do that you'll realize it's easy as pie. Actually I've seen you use gel. For topcoat, or for stones... That's all you need to know. Doing full gel nails isn't necessary if you know acrylic. I know how to build gel nails & still prefer acrylic because it's easy enough. Like those yellow nails you did recently with french & flowers. You're better off doing that french tip in acrylic because sometime edges get scraped. In your video putting bling you can see the edges scratched but if those were in acrylic it wouldn't be noticable. You know that tho. So really all you already know about gel is all you need to know. It's good for some paint jobs but it's better to do in acrylic if you can. I do some tricks with gel and acrylic hybrid nails but it's not really necessary when you have Zulay skills. Ya know?
