Think we should read the daily mail on this, it's meant to be the least deadly of all the variants and I think it's not an omicron variant, it's a variant that starts with a c and it's called centaurus. It looks like we will have to put up with all of these strains before it's declared from pandemic to endemic.

Excess deaths is not a panacea for determining death due to COVID. Can you answer the question, with all the measures in place to prevent COVID spread, have flu deaths and infections as one example? The reduction in those deaths could offset COVID deaths in that type of calculation. All excess deaths proves, without further analysis, is that deaths have changed .
My sons fiancé is about to lose her mother from cancer, lost her father 6mths ago from cancer. Both had treatment that was interrupted due to covid. I'm not surprised there are excess deaths and expect a lot more imo. 😢

It’s hard not to try to assign blame and find reasons. Having studied and obtaining degrees in physiology, biochemistry and other advanced degrees in health science research……I know this: An otherwise healthy immune system stressed by things such as viruses that might reduce your immune systems ability to correct for genetic errors……Like UV light dimers normally corrected by an RNA “machine works” for instance…..allow for cancers to advance rather than resolve before they get “rolling”. Just a thought. That’s not to mention the negative effects from hospital and healthcare restrictions and delays from potential improper disease focus. May God bless you all. 🙏

I’m double vaxed and caught covid over a week ago. I have felt really bad. Awful sickness and diarrhoea, sore throat, temperature and crushing fatigue. I’m still testing positive.

My husband and I were double vaccinated with AstraZeneca inDecember 21 and we have both been unwell with numerous infections since then we caught Covid in May and we’re have still not fully recovered. My daughter who was pregnant and did not want the vaccine because of fear of harming her baby has been exposed several times and has not caught a single infection.

The one point about excess deaths you didn’t mention, or I may have missed it, is the lack of healthcare workers. People could be going to hospital for various reasons but not getting treatment in a timely manner. Canada 🇨🇦 healthcare system is collapsing in real time.

Its quite the same in Hungary, but surprisingly, despite the mass infections, excess mortality is “only” 1.9% compared to 2015-19 average in 2022 so far, and it is actually lower than in 2015 and 2017.
In my state, MN, that is not the case. The only issue here is how backed up the clinics are because we have a high population of non english speaking somalians who get free health care and have at least 5 children per family. Anytime one of those kids gets a sniffle, they drag the whole brady bunch down to the clinic and it takes 4x as long to treat them because the parents do not speak English.

Yep - this is what Belgian vaccinologist Geert Vanden Bossche has been warning about. The vaccines don't stop transmission, but prevent severe disease.....so they put the virus under a lot of immune pressure....mutants that are more infectious become naturally selected and passed on at a quicker rate in highly vaccinated populations, but now with Centaurus there may be mutant strains that also become more virulent....the cost of human intervention could be very high...
The death rates are confusing due to the hospitals reporting died OF COVID-19 versus died WITH COVID-19. Hospitals in the US get paid from the government if the patient died OF COVID-19. They are slapping this on the death certificates even if the patient tested positive but died of other causes.
On excess deaths you mentioned in a previous video that you went to hospital in the early days of Covid and it was like the Marie Celeste. I had the same experience in April 2020 and thought to myself if this was a restaurant they are in trouble as they had four patients and about 15 staff. The place was deserted.
Hospitals were open for serious disease and diagnosis but the message was stay away and this has cost many lives.
By locking down and isolating people we lost the chance for someone meeting up and noticing or discussing symptoms, to say you need to get to the Doctor about that.
In Scotland we first noticed the lack of Covid deaths to explain the excess mortality last summer but it very likely started in late 2020 early 2021. You can close access to health for a very short period of time without doing too much harm. Hospitals go into weekend mode from before Christmas to the New Year most years.
After the first few weeks of lockdown the message should have been to get those with life threatening illness treated but the message was to scare people away. That message worked and its killed thousands.
Absolutely! Three of our neighbours were very possibly victims of late diagnosis. Following their eventual admission to hospital as emergencies one is now in a nursing home, one is back home but terminally ill and one has sadly just passed away in ICU. Many people were so terrified of catching Covid they buried symptoms they knew they should have been seeking help for.
And yet, we were all still allowed to pile into Costco (in Canada).

A fully vaccinated lady I know has had Covid 4 times now & has lasted over a week each time. Her unvaccinated daughter and two granddaughters( who she cares for) have not been ill at all, despite testing positive twice. It's like her natural immunity is not kicking in at all where theirs seem strong. I am seeing this phenomenon all around my circle of friends & acquaintances.

When my wife got pregnant, there were no vaccines available. She got the virus, recovered, and everything with the pregnancy was normal! When she went into labor, we went to the hospital and they informed us he was dead.
Months later, numerous tests, 3 professional opinions, and the conclusion that the only reason he had blood clots in his placenta was the coronavirus. So the accepted belief now is that is what killed him.
Fast forward, my friend's vaccinated wife got the virus while pregnant. But their child lived.
In 2021, stillbirths went from about 1.5% of pregnancies up to around 3%.
I love your anecdotal story about your friends. I am happy they are still alive. But you can't extrapolate your personal experience with a handful of people across the entire globe. For all of us who lost loved ones to the virus, stories like yours are ignorant and offensive.
Excess deaths in UK: I've had chest inflammation, pains and odd heart rhythms for almost a year. Not been able to see a GP in person since early 2020. Tomorrow I get a telephone consultation with a cardiologist! Would suspect these waiting times are causing the excess deaths...

I'm just getting over covid, I had it previously, so this round was just 24 hours of a fever. My mother, who I was especially concerned about because if her copd and sleep apnea, she didn't get it way back when and this was her first go at it. She had a fever for 3 days and stomach issues. That was it. Now I can't tell you what variant we got, but she handled it well.

Brilliant analysis, as always. People really need to call out governments and health authorities for their lack of impetus to investigate the increase in death rates. This is something which needed to be red flagged earlier but has not, which is a significant failing in health care provision. I certainly think the UK government should not invest anyting in mRNA vaccine development until a such an investigation is completed as well as a comprehensive investigation of those who have experienced adverse reaction to such a treatment. Any questions about a connection, must be thoroughly ruled out, and not to do so would question the integrity of those charged with public health care.

I am once again reminded of my middle school biology class many decades ago. I was amazed when our teacher talked about why there is no vaccine for the "common cold", and it was because, much like covid, it mutates much to fast for a vaccine to be effective. Lastly, the earth still has a few uncontacted tribal hunter gathers where whole villages will die from contracting what we call the "common cold". At some point humanity will have enough natural immunity so that covid will be just another common cold. IMO

I remember thinking that, IF virologists and immunologists COULD crack the SARS2 coronavirus problems, we MIGHT actually come up, finally, with a dependable vaccine or medicative approach to those forms of the "common cold" pathogens which are themselves other sorts of coronaviruses. Unfortunately, science obviously has NOT yet solved the SARS2 problem, and we don't yet know when (or even if) they will. Perhaps you are correct in thinking that we will have to simply wait for "natural immunity" to win the day, but, then again, who knows when (or even if) THAT will take place?

Most of them I spoke with just wanted to move on. I was studying how to be a death and dying coach or better known as a death dula. Death does not depress me…it is natural….living with people are so unhappy does.

Hi from Australia! Currently recovering from my first covid infection, unvxd. No idea which strain but suspect BA.4/5, think I got every symptom in the book which surprised me being in my 30s, healthy, active, and taking daily VitD+K2. First day had chills, fever, body aches, fatigue, headache, nausea and vomiting, wasn't till the 2nd day that I got the sore throat and stuffy nose (not sure if maybe I got unlucky with a 24hr stomach bug then covid as the nausea/vomiting stopped day 2 and the chills/fever gone by day 3...). It's been a full week now, tested negative today but still have lingering sniffles, cough, and low energy.
I know my symptoms may have been mitigated had I been vaccinated but still, not the worst cold I've ever had and have peace of mind knowing despite potentially higher covid risk, I have zero risk of vx adverse reactions. Not to mention my dbl vxd brother caught it twice before I did and is still dealing with some symptoms from the most recent spat - so hard to say what difference it really makes.
These are the same symptoms I had in March 2020, except it started with a rash, still recovering from the post viral syndrome. You need to rest a lot to prevent the long term lingering symptoms
Do you know your 25 OH D, Zinc, Mg, Folate (rbc), HbA1c, and B12 levels (pre-covid)? Get these checked if you can, supplementing blindly is not too helpful. Optimizing metabolic health and nutritional status are key.
Just take it real easy for the next couple of months (do less than you feel like you can), because since you had so many symptoms there’s a direct correlation between that and developing long covid in the 2 months prior to acute infection. Keep your excerise and stress levels low and work on rebuilding your immune system to avoid the dreaded long covid. Wishing you a full and swift recovery!
I hear digestive enzymes (I used Standard Process Enzycore supplement) fights potential long-term damage by digesting any circulating spike protein (enzymes eat proteins😉) Take on an empty stomach, otherwise it will just digest your food for you, not that that's a bad thing😄 Might help your brother, too, as he's probably suffering effects of spike from vax and covid both. I think you'll be right as rain, just do like others said and don't push yourself too hard. Best!

People are still resisting! Deaths still high in certain groups. AT LEAST IN USA mandatory vaccination legally failed. Reinfection is still high because of that failure EUA is therefore still needed and appropriate. Public health Emergency!!!
One thing we have learned: even that's way too slow as the virus mutates too fast. But then again - if people would be taking normal precautions and help preventing the spread none of this would be required!

@@christopherrobinson7541 Yes on the mutations but the Influenza also mutates multiple times a year however the point is that mutations do not tend to become that dominant over the pre-existing variant so easily. This does happen here though and could be explained because the vaccination amidst a pandemic and while not sterilising the virus increases the chances that the virus mutates in vaccinated people (waning effect) and a more vaccine resistant mutation emerges (immune escape).

The vaccines are not nor have they ever been mandated in Canada. Restricting access to certain venues or activities is not a vaccine mandate. People have always had the option not to be vaccinated.

Of course there’s going to be mutations in an RNA virus. That is clear to anyone with a minimum knowledge of biology. What the charlatans you are referring to were saying is that the vaccines would select for new more dangerous strains that would wipe out the human race… there was no evidence for this though the concern of new variants was acknowledged early on in the mainstream community. However no evidence was seen and all the new strains have arisen in countries with low vaccination rates. In fact the higher the infection rate the more likely to get variations… so the charlatans were wrong. But the virus has mutated.
Science is hard, leave it to the experts, the mainstream ones, not the nut jobs like Malone, Yeadon, van den Bossche et. al. who are selling misinformation, like “Dr” John here and his ivermectin BS. Actually this is not the only singular cause. People with pre-existing conditions are either not able to get treatment in time or avoiding hospitals because of the risk of catching things. A lot of hospital staff are off sick and the protocols are really slowing things down. Also, a lot of people don't have the common sense to stay home when symptomatic. In addition to that people have not been exposed to many bugs for a long time and their immunity has not been stimulated enough so now that they are exposed they are catching things in a more obvious way.

i have relatives wo did 3 shots and got for 1 week the virus with very strong symptoms 39 degrees fever and all the other ones.SO how did the vaccined helped them? It didn't i think they would be better of without. Its possible that their imune system is very weak due to the shot thats why they got such bad symthoms

It would be fantastic if you could do a programme in regards to the east African country Eritrea that has chosen to date not to vaccinate their 5 million plus populace in regards to covid and how the country has fared particularly in regards to covid deaths and excess deaths. It would be very interesting to compare this country to New Zealand which has a similar population but who have managed to "encourage" a high percentage of the population to have covid vaccinations. Yes, a robust and healthy immune system is key generally. Immunity protection seem to differ in individuals though. Someone that seems to have excellent health, strong lungs can suffer while their spouse who does no exercise and smokes a pack a day doesn’t even catch it. Genetics must play a role too. I, touch wood have not caught it although every single one of my colleagues and friends in a similar environment have, and some multiple times. I take vitamins rarely; mostly when my wife reminds me to. We will have to wait and see now how this pans out. The safest way was to stop it spreading in the first place but we were not able to do that. Not sure how much vaccines and intermingling are going to affect our future.

Isolating is not sustainable, and I believe not psychologically healthy in the long run, so optimizing the immune system, and letting it function the way it is designed to seems to be the logical solution to the problem of covid.

The only RBD mutations are N460K (only exposed in the down configuration so antigenically irrelevant), G446S (major immune escape site but was present in BA.1) and the reversion R493Q, same as BA.4/5. That's less immune escape than BA.4/5.
Well in either case here ba1 vax works vs ba5 and ba2.75 so that's good. Looks new ba1 vax may kick ass vs ba2.75, meaning if ba2.75 dominates ba5 but then the vax is more

Myself and parents (80s) just contracted whatever flavor on Friday. Not saying anything but I was jab free and they were doubles. I slept a day away and they got hit pretty hard. Luckily no crazy bad stuff.

OP, no. Unvaccinated people develop antibodies to the spike protein of the variant they get infected with. Variants with a different spike proteins then become selected for by the evolutionary process.

Good. There are people who like to play with fire. The bad thing is: currently we cannot simply scan your DNA and say "Hey, you're lucky - you don't need vaccinations!" I just tested negative for covid19 today after being sick for 5 days because of covid19. I will tell you I didn't get the original strain of covid19 back when this all started. This was a little tough but im sure due to my vaccinations I was able to bear the illness in such a short time. I am blessed I'm back on track.stay safe people.

Same here except unvaxed. This was a milder strain for most people. Most of my vaccinated friends are going on their 2nd and 3rd time diagnosed with covid. I'm seriously concerned and so are they. They took the vax in good faith and now they're all wondering why...all of them. Each time they're a little more sick than the last bout they had and it's lasting longer. I have many close friends and family who are vaccinated and I'm really starting to worry about them. These are people i really care about.
I'm confused. How do 'we' know numbers of who's got what variant if there's no testing anymore?
