His theory is that it will definitely be found, and when they open up the ark they will find the Rod of Aaron, the manna bread that God sent to the Isrealites when they were in the desert and the Ten Commandments. Only the appointed people were allowed to touch the Ark. If the wrong people touched it then they would drop dead. This is why people had to stay far from it. I believe that it was keep on the sticks not only for "cleanliness" but also the weight of the ark. It would have been easier to carry it in this way. I believe in the Jewish Kabbalah version of events. The Ark has never been said to be the physical representation of God. It is described as the place where God comes to meet with man. It represents that, hence the name, the Ark if the Covenant. They only went into battle with the ark once and God allowed it to be captured because they were using it as a good luck charm. The ark was to be carried on two polls. In 1 Kings it's mentioned that an invader from Egypt took *everything* from Jerusalem during the reign of Rehoboam. That makes a pretty good case for the Ark ending up in Egypt or Ethiopia based on that alone. I'm surprised you didn't bring up that verse.

When I was a child I used to ask my father if he thought the Ark would ever be found. His theory is that it will definitely be found, and when they open up the ark they will find the Rod of Aaron, the manna bread that God sent to the Isrealites when they were in the desert and the Ten Commandments.

Only the appointed people were allowed to touch the Ark. If the wrong people touched it then they would drop dead. This is why people had to stay far from it. By constructing a box of strong wood, it would be much safer if Moses' emotions got to him again, and later on, such a box overlayed with Gold would provide more protection, as well as significance to the object.
As to the Ark's whereabouts, Ron Wyatt claims to have found it, but I have my doubts. I personally think the Ark was destroyed, melted for gold to make coins, or as a means of insulting the Isrealites. I believe in the Jewish Kabbalah version of events. They only went into battle with the ark once and God allowed it to be captured because they were using it as a good luck charm. The ark was to be carried on two polls. I think the ark is nothing but a box that man built. What it represented was what was important. The ark was simply repsentative of the covenant that God had with Israel. In 1 Kings it's mentioned that an invader from Egypt took *everything* from Jerusalem during the reign of Rehoboam. That makes a pretty good case for the Ark ending up in Egypt or Ethiopia based on that alone. I'm surprised you didn't bring up that verse.
And the theory that the Ark was in Ethiopia and stolen by Mussolini's army is behind some theories that it is now in the Vatican.

I have absolutely no idea where the Ark is located, It could be anywhere. The Elites could have taken it, God could have bring it back to heaven, anything or its buried somewhere...I believe God may have taken it up but we have yet to find out
