This was really wonderful tribute, just as good as Adam Lambert's Isle of Wight performance (that was, in my opinion, best and most emotional performance of this song ever, not counting Freddie - he is untouchable). Tommy, just like Adam, has the ability (and the voice) to capture the spirit of the song, while still making it his own. I've learned to expect much of Tommy, but still I'm in awe every time

In the album version, "Kind of magic", Brian sings it with Freddie and made it a super hit for years to come. But for me this song will always be the song in the movie "Highlander". And everytime i hear this song performed by Queen i can see in my eyes the scene from the movie, when Connor MacLeod leave his goodbyes to his wife Heather. And i got a lump in my throat. Freddie's voice and the song itself and of course the movie...well it is just indescribable. Here Tommy did a fantastic cover (once again) and a fantastic dedication to a great human being (R.I.P Elisabeth) . Tommy's version is one of the best covers of this song. But his voice is absolutely brilliant to cover any songs that Freddie has done. I can understand that this song has such an impact for you. I'm in the same boat. Yeah Highlander is such a great movie, I love it! And Christopher Lambert is such a nice and humble guy! He even said to me that IF someone approached him, he would defenately act in another Highlander movie as some kind of mentor or whatever they would want him to do.
