Guys I truly understand both sides, the South Africa side and the greater African side well. Basically the news when delivered to people not near the crux of the story, information ends up being received incorrectly. For instance in the greater Africa, the story says xenophobic South Africans have fought against a legal Nigerian South African in favour of a legal European South African. This is because the major argument prior to the factual results of Identity Fraud and ineligibility of Chidimma Adetshina was centered on her not representing South Africans and not sharing in our culture. It was never about her South African citizenship until later into the debates online. It would then makes sense for them to ask if White people and Indians represent our culture as well because we never question them in that way, just as a reminder, they are not questioning eligibility but representing South African Black people because in China even if that African is a legal Chinese citizen they would never represent China in the Miss China because they too would want a real Chinese in that competition. Guys I truly understand both sides, the South Africa side and the greater African side well. Basically the news when delivered to people not near the crux of the story, information ends up being received incorrectly. For instance in the greater Africa, the story says xenophobic South Africans have fought against a legal Nigerian South African in favour of a legal European South African. This is because the major argument prior to the factual results of Identity Fraud and ineligibility of Chidimma Adetshina was centered on her not representing South Africans and not sharing in our culture. It was never about her South African citizenship until later into the debates online. It would then makes sense for them to ask if White people and Indians represent our culture as well because we never question them in that way, just as a reminder, they are not questioning eligibility but representing South African Black people because in China even if that African is a legal Chinese citizen they would never represent China in the Miss China because they too would want a real Chinese in that competition. In the South Africa space, we have to question when we see the usual suspects in certain South African high platforms especially notorious ones like Nigerians, Zimbabweans, Mozambicans, Somalians, Pakistanis and Chinese who are commonly associated with South African social ills and fraudulent activities. So they need to humble themselves and really get a reality of what South Africans are going through in order to do and think the way they do as this time around they were right. Its hard to change their minds when such things are happening
