I also believe that many in the faith are "shipwrecked" because they don't understand this truth! Dutch Sheets book, Becoming Who You Are was a game changer for me and taught what you are addressing here! I personally know a pastor who told me this is "new" teaching and that the Early Church did not believe in body, soul and spirit! The Bible speaks of all three and if we look at the Gospels, Jesus actually was a bridge between the OT and the New. That left such a transformation in the lives of the disciples of Christ once the Spirit became part of EVERY believer! It would be easy to miss, but thank God people are starting to see it now!!! Life-changing truth!!!

This is so easy to understand. When I got saved I was very skeptical that Jesus even is real. But was in a desperate place so I thought I'll ask him for forgiveness and see if anything changes. Nothing changed that evening when I prayed. The next day I woke up and I felt alive on the inside, colors were different,like trees greenest and sky more blue etc. But the most miraculous was the Lord completely took away my cursing, before I got saved f words were like every 3rd word. Since I got saved I can't use curse words anymore. That was a sure sign for me he is God and can go miracles in an instant. Today I am believing for physical manifestation of healing in my body, inflammation, sciatica , bulging discs and other spine issues. 🙏

Meditating on the Word of God daily (outloud) has done so much to change the way I think. Over the last 17 Months I see my life being changed right before my very eyes. This is rarely taught if church but so important to a changed life.

I agree with a lot of stuff you said except for the fact that when your saved your still depressed. Now I know you might not immediately not be depressed once your saved but you being depressed isn’t a personality trait. Jesus can save you from depression and give you happiness
Yes He saved me from acute, long term depression by guiding me to take high strength fish oils. I never looked back and am now 7 years free of depression. None of the conventional drugs worked, the Lord is so good. He gave me my life back,
