@@yourhomeincostarica what is the expectation for lifespan of such materials, vs traditional? Upkeep that might be different? Essentially, what increase (or decrease perhaps?) would one expect over long term ownership of such a home? Gras' por su ayuda!

No, no. The altitude helps not having a lot of mosquitos

@@zxglix6425 This is the average price in this gated community, which has its own vegetable garden, swimming pool, yoga shala, rancho, playground, etc.
You can find out for yourself the prices in these types of communities such as La Ecovilla or Alegria Village, two sister communities.
It is always about supply-demand.
