Thanx for the sub! I am totally impressed with the size of the trout you catch. Do you only use the thee hook Rapala? You have really figured out how to find these monster fish. I subbed as well.
Hi Zach, subbed and love your work. What to you use for waders? Separate boots, chest, insulated etc? I know you were unhappy with what you had and was just looking for some suggestions if you upgraded?
Thanks, I am still trying to find the monsters. I don’t have the time due to the distance that I drive to these new to me waters. I’ve only done about 20 outings in 3 years so far. I have covered a lot of ground in addition to research and planning. I have a good feel for most of the systems overall but I need time to explore more sections of the streams that I like best. My regular fishing for the first 40 years has been north east Wisconsin. Now I almost exclusively fish the driftless.
Oh yeah, I have used the triple treble rap a couple times. It was too early in the sections that I fished. I have caught 2 of the biggest fish of my career on the 2 1/2 inch rap. I know where there are some monsters up here, GB, but have to get the timing down
Good work Zach!

I use jigs too, but that’s probably my favorite lure.
