Hey man! Good to see ya out fishing. Screw the dude who said you need a job. I work and install carpet and I take every opportunity to get out and get some trout and thats how it should be.
@@sotascouting shouldn’t be. Light action is what I use for most trout fishing. I switched to a little heavier one this year for bigger ones when I’m throwing bigger stuff. If your fishing for big trout I would recommend something a little heavier to increase your chances of landing them.
Minnesota driftless it seems. looks like the vermillion river. Only place I know that holds trophies browns due to the warmer water with tons of minnows and no catch and eat regulation on browns.
Dude screenshots of GoPro videos is the best way to get those pics. Smile, move the fish around a bit, and pull the best frame. Excellent for catch and release.
Huh.... Well, that’s interesting. I thought (assumed) everyone who fishes “The Driftless” used flies, but, here you are, cleaning up with a Rapala. I don’t know if I will ever get around to fishing that area, but, I am curious: What is your favorite color / size?
I’ll post a video on that soon, but find sections of water that has slow moving deep holes. Preferably lots of downed trees in the water. I have yet to catch a big one in fast moving water.
Awesome video wit good tips. Enjoyed our quick release without holding out of water. Well done. And fish are just incredible. Subbed your channel. Tight lines 👍💪🎣🎣🎣
damn, nice man...I better try using more rapalas. You've inspired me to be more ethical towards fish, especially trout, I will try my best to follow your example thank you
Holy crap. That's one hell of a day fishing!!! Up to you of course, but I've seen what happens when a stream or river gets broadcasted after a great day of fishing lol. Someone on a fb group did that and there was literally 6 cars there the following weekend, and it was a private stream lol. It really does a number to the big fish in the stream. Hope you don't mention the streams :) awesome video btw and I practice the exact same catch and release :) Video and screen shot it later!!! Get the fish back in the water asap. Bravo!!!
I hear ya, I don’t list streams on social media for that reason. Keeping the streams private is way more important than the extra views I’d get if I listed them. Much more rewarding to find your own water too.
Dam.. I need to find these rivers and take my ultra light gears out there to do some battles. Maybe a big one my snap the rod so I can get a new replacement. lol
Not gonna name any accounts but I’ve watched many videos of RUclipsrs in the driftless of poor handling skills. Examples: Beaching big trout onto grass or mud when they have a net around their neck, not getting hands wet before touching, pulling them off of redds, keeping the trophies etc..

Well done, amazing how those fish just lock on to the lure and follow it all the way to the end. Keep it up!
Great ethics and handling of such majestic species. Well done young man! A rare trait, nice to see.
Wow. Sweet video
Thank you!
Good day, nice water and awesome fishing, enjoyed the trip, thumbs up, tight lines and greetings from New Zealand Trout anglers,, Tony.
Wow beautiful trout. Nice going.
That's a very healthy river your fishing! Awesome to see those big healthy browns on the jerk bait.. glad I found your channel 👍
Thank you, sweet channel yourself!
@@anglinginaction7337 Hey thanks brother 👊.
Sweetness! Love the trout! :) What kind of rod n reel are you using? That a st. croix rod?
St Croix premier medium light fast action 6’6. Reels are constantly changing because I trash them out there😅
@@anglinginaction7337 Awesome thanks!
@@anglinginaction7337 I just bought a light action rod for trout. You think that will be a problem??

Nice fish welldone 🐟🎣
Great channel, nice to see he respect you give the fish looking forward to seeing more well done.
Keep up the good videos, we appreciate what you do. Don't pay any attention to the feeble minded idiots who tell you to get a job. They are jealous.
Iowa does have some small minded jerks.
What lb test do you use?
Now that's some Trout !!! Thanks for the sub & keep up your vids - awesome content..... I'm over here in Duluth/Superior
You got your fair share of big ones up there coming out of the lake!
woow amazing fishing, new friends from asia is watching you, stay tune
Killer job! I guarantee the dislikes are from salty fly fishermen 😂
sweeeet upload!

Original floating 13 firetiger has produced the most fish over 20 this year
@@anglinginaction7337 Oh that's cool. Never caught one on a rapala yet! Will try soon
any general tips on where to go for bigger trout? Been fishing the driftless for a year or so and can’t seem to catch any beyond 15”

What waterway is this
You look really familiar
Are you still interested
Where in driftless is this
Secret...
Nice fishes! Vermillion?
Nope down by Iowa, just hit the Vermillion, next video will probably be that
Who needs a job when you're trouting like that ?!?!? Nice
How do you tell if a trout is a male or female?
As they get older and bigger males develop a hooked jaw and are typically but not always have brighter colors
What pound test line do you use?
4-6 depending on clarity and size of fish I’m looking for.
20 inches is going the wall lol
Beef up that rod Bro
I wanna know who on RUclips is handling trout poorly

I can send you video links on Instagram if you disagree
@@anglinginaction7337 just hoping it's not wisconsin trout fishing.
I agree with keeping bigs and some other stuff. I don't do it often but those fish deal with grass and sand 24/7. They will be fine.
Get a fly rod ;)
Got one, gonna do a lot with both this year. Can't go wrong with spinning or fly fishing. Just a blast to get out.
What river??
