- Have you been cooking salmon correctly? Check out our helpful tips and tricks to get the most out of this superfood.
1. Salmon is chock full of tiny pin bones. The best tool to get them out is a tweezer. Buy a tweezer with an angled head and keep it in your kitchen. To remove the bones, grab them and pull the direction they're going. This will let the bones slip out without tearing the skin.
2. When grilling fish, oil it lightly and grill on parchment paper (skin side down) to keep the skin from sticking. The paper will burn and turn to ash and you'll get a crispy skinned salmon that removes from the grill easily.
3. Salmon is high in fat. They'll cause smoke in a pan or a broiler. Don't forget to turn on your kitchen fan.
4. If you want to test salmon to see if it's done, stick a sharp metal knife into the thickest part of the salmon. Touch it when it comes out. If it's hot to the touch, your salmon is done.
These tips and tricks are amazing and helpful big thanks
This is incredibly helpful! However, shouldn't the description say "Have you been choosing/selecting/picking salmon correctly?" rather than cooking?
