Recreated one of my favorite fashion hacks I learned in 2022! I had so many comments on how to button up the back, so this version shows a quick tip on how to do so if you don’t have anyone to help.
Memo: this hack works best with tops that are a bit loose (one size up) or oversized, and will not work well with fitted tops. I’m also wearing a size small top here, and in this style I’m normally an xs if I want a fitted look. Please make sure not to close the very first button in the back, and then tuck in the collar 🙌🤍✨💫

usually these "fashion hacks" look ridiculous but this is gorgeous. something about the color makes it even better. I'm curious what the back looks like though

Thank you so much! I filmed this exact hack last year with the black version of this top, and it's pinned to my instagram. I also wore it on my fashion segment on the Today Show. I just started posting here last month, but you can see it on my instagram xo
not sideways at all, you just see the buttons in a straight line down how you would see in the front.
@@LinaNoory how? do u shift it a little..literally tried it with three different shirts and different fabrics, when I twist one side it’s shorter so it automatically pulls to the side… Maybe the shirt needs to be two sizes too big

Love this hack! You are correct that this hack only works on a top that’s at least one size larger. I would also add that this hack only works on a top with silky material (silk, satin, “silk-looking” polyester). This hack looks weird on cotton and linen tops.

It looks so pretty but I’d be nervous all day of it falling apart. And then people can still see the buttons in the back and know it’s just a button up shirt
Hi! It stays in place, I've worn it multiple times. The buttons do show, but I typically have my hair down. It's just an alternative for anyone who needs another way to wear an item they own xo
To me, I think the buttons in the back could give the impression they’re just part of the shirt’s design. I’ve had blouses with decorative buttons down the back. It’s all about perspective 😊❤
