It's the emotion in her voice definitely. since when you hear her sing, sometimes, you just imagine the hell she went through the past few years and think "wow...she's still standing..."
Kesha is a really underrated singer/performer. She really has a beautiful and well-controlled voice. Not to mention the music industry almost ate her up alive. Strong woman!❤👍
She’s gained a new surge in popularity thanks to her voicing the character Bee-Lzebub in Helluva Boss. Though some songs, I made mixed feelings(that’s just because of my tastes though, and to each their own right?)
Still better then the auto tuned piece of shit that they call a Reimagined "Rewrite the Stars" The original with Zac and Zendaya was perfect, and they ruined it with that cover.
Kesha should perform this live. Its another empowering song from her. And another song with a new meaning when she covered like what she did on "Til it happens to you" by Lady Gaga. I'm always thankful that God sent Kesha to my life. I'm so enlightened and empowered.
@@TaShawnVa I think she did great and has a lot of talent but for my personal interest just wasn't what I wanted to hear. I don't think This Is Me was her song tbh, it's not one that has a rap feel to it. I have an ear for tempo and style since I'm a musician, Missy Elliot's style clashed with the song.
And also if I noticed anything that disappointed me about their version is that all they did was combine the vocals from this one and Keala's version adding Missy Elliot's rap part. They didn't actually record it together, it was pretty much just their vocal samples combined into one song.
since Kesha has truly found were she belongs, her purpose, her soul; she has become one of the truly genuine power houses of the music industry. She has found her self and has released a voice of an angel.

Kesha, I have no words. At 3:04, I could here a part of you I've never personally heard. It sounds like you shrunk down to a child. So soft. After all the crap you've endured, it's still there. Who you were before. It's still there. YOU'RE STILL THERE. No matter how much you lose yourself to the world, no matter how much this world tares you down, no matter, NO MATTER. You can still pull through. You prove that Kesha, you are living proof. I hope whoever needs to sees this reads this. I hope you the best from here.💜
I wanted to keep my comment short, but just like to add something else. I'm a writer, and I was stuck on a story when I found this. I was trying to make an elevator pitch, putting your story into a sentence. It was a story based off something that happened to me, that changed me, and when I wrote. "You're still there." That was it. Everything in the story and that experience, I finally put into words. Thank you, Lord, for Kesha and Kesha, thank you for being to stubborn and strong to be taken down. Thank you so much. I'm taking that story, and I'm making it for you, me, and anyone else who need to here it. I won't let you down. Incase your curious. "You're still there, no matter how much you lose." I'll speak to that, you, that's still there through my stories. I'll help those who feel lost. And I hope I started with who ever is reading this, whether it'd be 1 or a 1,000,000
