Goodness! It is amazing how Honda was able to keep the "classic look" of the Cub and hide a gaggle to modern tech tucked in so tight behind the panels... makes me long for the old school simplicity of my 1960s Cub...
Everything about this bike is modern except the "looks". But it rides solid even at 60mph, the old supercubs won't even get that fast but would feel more sketch at 50mph.
Passive rivets: I am painting my Cross Cub 50 side panels and they have those passive rivets on the bottom edge... Thanks for explaining how to remove them...
E-vap, short for evaporative canister, which is mainly a CA emissions thing. Other states don't have this requirement. Hence 49state bikes. But more states are gonna require it and maybe a few other states already have. Not sure if EU requires it for Euro5 or not.

@@DaBinChe true. my little Cub is solid at 60 or so, and looks so darn good! Don't miss the BMW R120R at all.
Thank you so much I need to remove this side cover on my Supercub.
Thank you for these excellent videos, very informative and appreciated.

Exellent tool-tip there, Hozan JIS-4 JIS Cross Point Screwdriver Set on its way from Japan now 🙂
Thank you very much.
I have a JIS screwdriver video showing what I have. It is an older video, I have since got more JIS screwdrivers...maybe I should do a new video.
Can you remove the other side panel?
thanks for all your videos, I ride my little cub daily and your videos are a hige help. PS - how many miles do you have on it?
14k miles
You could turn that screwdriver into a microphone 😆
Whats an e vac? Or did you say e bac? I couldn't quite hear you. Just bought the cub 2022, and following your vids.
