  • In this video, I am walking through the majority of accessories I have installed on the bike since I purchased it back in May 2023. After I completed filming, I found that I missed a few things (e.g. radiator guard, fork brace, etc.), but I will cover these in the follow-up video when I complete the modifications I have in mind.

JFYI, I never delete comments whether they are positive or negative. The exception would be spam ones with no meaningful content. HOWEVER, it seems that RUclips just deleted all comments for this video. I do not understand why, since they were just about the motorcycles and not offensive in any way. @Frank Bonessa was one of the commenters and his messages were really nice. I think RUclips is relying on their ML filtering too much and there are lots of false positives. I am a bit sad to see all comments wiped out for a channel that is just starting. :(

My Vstrom 650 is the worst bike I've ever owned, now having to add a centre stand, wish I'd never bought it.

Well, you can always sell it and buy a bike that fits you, no? I made my choice consciously and with all its limitations, this is the bike I enjoy the most at the moment. Could you elaborate a bit on what's wrong with yours?

Also, @rogerkay8603, I watched the video of your unfortunate crash on KTM. Are you sure that you ready for 650? I was riding 250 for quite a while and still, when I got 650 it was too big of a bike for me initially. I spent almost a couple of months practicing slow turns and emergency braking in a parking lot before I started to feel at least acceptably comfortable riding the public roads. In that video you published, there was no attempt to avoid the situation it seems (looks like panic just kicked in and you froze). Again, nothing wrong with it -- we are all people and we have our own circumstances, but, perhaps, you may benefit from doing a bit of slow riding routines in a safe environment? Just a thought.

@thABike I also have an XSR900, so its not about engine size. Its physically too big/heavy for my use case so it's gotta go. I wanted something I could tour and commute on, okay for touring, no good for commuting in London.

Fair enough. I don't commute, this bike is just for fun for me. So, most likely you faced something I did not.
