I know you work hard and you’re a busy guy so I want to thank you for your videos. You helped inspire me to get to trapping. I just ordered a starter pack off Minnesota Trapline Products. Also some scent lures. And I got a dog proof too. I’m about to clean up my neck of the woods here in east Texas. Oh and while I got you, your intro is pretty awesome with the animals snarling. Can’t wait to walk up on my first catch. Thanks again.
I love being exhausted from chasing my dreams. It’s what keeps me going!! Thanks! I enjoy making the intros every year, I wish you all the luck on your line! Tight chains!!
Dad’s a ol trapper from way back. He always taught me to set the dog at 3 o’clock. That way the back jaw doesn’t try to shoot the paw out like a slingshot. He said he gets less misses and less toe catches like that. You ever set any that way? Either way enjoy the videos… keep ‘em coming and tight chains!
Glad ya got twinkle toes, and in doing that you gave me a couple of great ideas for hopalong!!! Not had any sign of him on camera since I moved it up. Had a critter leave me a present right at the end of my driveway night before last so I left him a trench set today ;) Great info as always and I will be at the Classic!!
Awesome catches I believe I got a educated coyote my self big oh male hanging round still trying to catch him great information as always👍 trap on 👍💯🇺🇸
I’ve tried that, had more misses than I could count. Also watching the coyotes with the set, they’d be several inches away from the pan. I’ll never do it again
Understand, Hoosier Trapping makes a compelling argument and speaking with the old timers thats how they used to do it until the set it back 8-10” took over. One old timer told me his catches went way down after he started moving them back. To each their own I reckon. Appreciate your feedback. Tight chains
@@CarolinaCoyote yea dad said that makes since who doesn't love chocolate. Had to also tell him you was the reason we both eating white Reese cups now to 🤣🤣
I can’t tell you how happy I was when it finally worked! And I’ll have a website up in a couple weeks, I’ll put it on all of my social media as soon as I get it out together!!!

I’ve always set with my dog facing towards the set. Just how I’ve always done it, but I may have to try that. Thanks for the tip!

Thoughts on “guarding the hole” with your traps?

@@CarolinaCoyote your welcome
So, if it's good enough for one trap, it's good enough for three.😅
Honestly, my first coyote catch was with traps set within a foot of each other.
Caught my first cat today and she is giant
That’s awesome!!
Thanks man she been playing with me and eating chickens for two years and I finally got her!!!!!
I must have missed the episode of putting the coyote in a cage. What do you do with them?
Ever used glow in the dark golf balls?
